On Nov. 8, 2010, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) filed a massive 260-page motion in the District of Columbia Superior Court. It asks Judge Erik Christian to dismiss former AIPAC employee Steven J. Rosen's $20 million defamation suit. In October the court dismissed all counts of the March 2009 lawsuit except for Rosen's claim of harm over AIPAC statements to the press that he did not uphold its standards of conduct. Rosen and AIPAC have – until now – abstained from filing damaging information about the internal workings of AIPAC in court.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg spoke today before the Wall Street Journal CEO Council annual conference. According to WSJ, he told attendees, that the U.S. needs to reduce its dependence on foreign oil if “you want to stop sending your money to … terrorists.” The answer, he said: “We need a carbon tax.” Al Gore, among others, has been promoting a carbon tax based on bogus data showing carbon causes golbal warming. To my knowledge, Bloomberg is the first person to suggest a carbon tax as a way to battle terrorists.
The TSA has taken their tyranny to new levels, openly breaking the law in order to push their police state security. American Citizens are being subjected to the groping of their genitals by low IQ TSA agents. A report by Fox News has indicated that there will be NO religious exemptions when it comes to invasive TSA procedures. The Transportation Security Administration says airline passengers won’t get out of body imaging screening or pat-downs based on their religious beliefs. TSA chief John Pistole told the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Tuesday that passengers who refuse to go through a full-body scanner machine and reject a pat-down won’t be allowed to board, even if they turned down the in-depth screening for religious reasons.

Since the Constitution does not give the Federal government any power to determine what constitutes evidence in state courts, this act is a blatant violation of all of our rights under color of law. Caterpillar Corporation applauded the Chinese for directing their stimulus towards the people. All American politicians and treasury people have done is to direct the bailout to the banks who scammed us. The banks have decided to raise interest rates rather than pass their inexpensive borrowing from the government along to the burdened credit card holders. They have become loan sharks in the way that they have desperately attempted to charge their unfair rates with complete government immunity. At a time when rates should be declining, they are rising. It would grant the U.S. government new authority over the public's right to grow, trade and transport any foods. This would give Big brother the power to regulate the tomato plants in your backyard. It would grant them the power to arrest and imprison people selling cucumbers at farmer's markets. It would criminalize the transporting of organic produce if you don't comply with the authoritarian rules of the federal government. This tyrannical law puts all food production (yes, even food produced in your own garden) under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security. Yep -- the very same people running the TSA and its naked body scanner / passenger groping programs.
Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA)creates two blacklists of Internet domain names. Courts could add sites to the first list; the Attorney General would have control over the second. Internet service providers and others (everyone from Comcast to PayPal to Google AdSense) would be required to block any domains on the first list. They would also receive immunity (and presumably the good favor of the government) if they block domains on the second list. The lists are for sites "dedicated to infringing activity," but that's defined very broadly -- any domain name where counterfeit goods or copyrighted material are "central to the activity of the Internet site" could be blocked.
