Fraudclosure Hearing, Day II

It is important to emphasize that junk fees on homeowners ultimately come out of the pocket of MBS investors. If the homeowner lacks sufficient equity in the property to cover the amount owed on the loan, including junk fees, then there is a deficiency from the foreclosure sale. As many mortgages are legally or functionally non-recourse, this means that the deficiency cannot be collected from the homeowner’s other assets. Mortgage servicers recover their expenses off the top in foreclosure sales, before MBS investors are paid. Therefore, when a servicer lards on illegal fees in a foreclosure, it is stealing from investors such as pension plans and the US government. So much for "they're deadbeats and deserve it" as an argument.

Fraud Factories: Rep. Alan Grayson Explains the Foreclosure Fraud Crisis

---Comment---

Can't believe that Florida voted out Alan Grayson. This only goes to show that the old saying is true: "The men the American people admire most extravagantly are the greatest liars; the men they detest most violently are those who try to tell them the truth." -- H.L. Mencken

John F. Kennedy vs The Federal Reserve

Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are United States Government institutions. They are not Government institutions, departments, or agencies. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign customers. Those 12 private credit monopolies were deceitfully placed upon this country by bankers who came here from Europe and who repaid us for our hospitality by undermining our American institutions.

The FED basically works like this: The government granted its power to create money to the FED banks. They create money, then loan it back to the government charging interest. The government levies income taxes to pay the interest on the debt. On this point, it's interesting to note that the Federal Reserve Act and the sixteenth amendment, which gave congress the power to collect income taxes, were both passed in 1913. The incredible power of the FED over the economy is universally admitted. Some people, especially in the banking and academic communities, even support it. On the other hand, there are those, such as President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, that have spoken out against it. His efforts were spoken about in Jim Marrs' 1990 book Crossfire:"

Another overlooked aspect of Kennedy's attempt to reform American society involves money. Kennedy apparently reasoned that by returning to the constitution, which states that only Congress shall coin and regulate money, the soaring national debt could be reduced by not paying interest to the bankers of the Federal Reserve System, who print paper money then loan it to the government at interest. He moved in this area on June 4, 1963, by signing Executive Order 11110 which called for the issuance of $4,292,893,815 in United States Notes through the U.S. Treasury rather than the traditional Federal Reserve System. That same day, Kennedy signed a bill changing the backing of one and two dollar bills from silver to gold, adding strength to the weakened U.S. currency.

White House sees opportunity for immigration reform in lame-duck Congress

White House sees opportunity for immigration reform in lame-duck Congress
By Brian Bennett and Lisa Mascaro, Tribune Washington Bureau
November 18, 2010|5:57 p.m.
The White House and congressional Democrats are pushing to bring to a vote a bill that creates a path to legal status for young illegal immigrants, seeking to win support from moderate Republicans in the lame-duck session before a more conservative GOP contingent arrives in January. The proposed Dream Act would use fines, education or military service to allow some of the nation's 2.1 million illegal immigrants younger than 35 to legally remain in the country.

Greek rescue frays as Irish crisis drags on

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/8138739/Greek-rescue-fray...

The eurozone bail-out for Greece has begun to unravel after Austria suspended aid contributions over failure to comply with the rescue terms, and Germany warned Athens that its patience was running out. The clash caught markets off-guard and heightened fears that Europe's debt crisis may be escalating, with deep confusion over the Irish crisis as Dublin continues to resist EU pressure to request its own rescue. Olli Rehn, the EU economics commissioner, said escalating rhetoric in Europe was turning dangerous. "I want to call on every responsible European to resist the centrifugal tendencies and existential alarmism."

The horrible truth starts to dawn on Europe's leaders

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/finance/ambroseevans-pritchard/100008667/...

The entire European Project is now at risk of disintegration, with strategic and economic consequences that are very hard to predict.

In a speech this morning, EU President Herman Van Rompuy (poet, and writer of Japanese and Latin verse) warned that if Europe’s leaders mishandle the current crisis and allow the eurozone to break up, they will destroy the European Union itself. “We’re in a survival crisis. We all have to work together in order to survive with the euro zone, because if we don’t survive with the euro zone we will not survive with the European Union,” he said.

Europe stumbles blindly towards its 1931 moment

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/comment/ambroseevans_pritchard/8132...

Unless the ECB takes fast and dramatic action, it risks destroying the currency it is paid to manage, and allowing a political catastrophe to unfold in Europe.

If mishandled, Ireland could all too easily become a sovereign version of Credit Anstalt - the Austrian bank that brought down the central European financial system in 1931, sent tremors through London and New York, and set off the second deeper phase of the Great Depression, the phase when politics turned ugly.

Israel and the anti-Muslim blow-up

"The sermon was a nutty affair that tearfully made the transition from intifada to Holocaust and back again. I remember thinking, 'this guy is actually blaming the Palestinians for the suffering of his parents during the Holocaust.' I thought I had missed something because it was so ridiculous. Then came the sermon's ending which was unforgettable. The rabbi concluded with the words from Ecclesiastes. 'To everything there is a season. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, a time to reap ... A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance...'

He then looked up and said: 'Now is the time to hate.' Sorry if repost..

PHILIP GIRALDI: LIAR, LIAR

Rep. Eric Cantor recently met privately with Bibi Netanyahu and said the Republican Party would serve “as a check on” the Obama Administration over its policies in the Middle East. In other words, Cantor was meeting with the leader of a foreign country and promising to do whatever he could to influence and even subvert the foreign policy of his own country.

Airport security: Scanner images will reverberate across the world

The holy grail has been to simplify the process and this is why body scanners are seen as the future of airport security.

But critics have said their use amounts to a virtual strip search and reassurances that this was not the case now appear pretty hollow.

In Britain the Government has tried to defuse the row by putting in a number of safeguards already, including the requirement that the person viewing the scans cannot see the passengers themselves.

Even tougher privacy protection is promised. But the danger is that the disclosures from America will see public confidence evaporate in the whole scanner programme.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is apparent that, for the writer of this article, research and facts are definitely not his strong suite. He moans over the potential disruption of a system which, at the end of the day, makes no one flying any safer.

1. The back scatter xray body scanners will, statistically, cause cancer in both passengers and all ground security crews exposed to this radiation.

http://www.nationalpost.com/news/Naked+scanners+airports+dangerous+scientists/3819955/story.html

“No exposure to X-ray is considered beneficial. We know X-rays are hazardous but we have a situation at the airports where people are so eager to fly that they will risk their lives in this manner,” he said.

"The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) began rolling out full-body scanners at U.S. airports in 2007, but stepped up deployment of the devices this year when stimulus funding made it possible to buy another 450 of the advanced imaging" technology scanners.

3, In the US, the use of these scanners is two-fold:

A. To create a boatload of cash to all companies selling these machines and for their investors.

B. To punish those who opt out because they understand that the radiation is very dangerous.

4. Unlike the UK,which has no formal constitution, the US has a formal Constitution and Bill of Rights.

As reported at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution

"The Fourth Amendment (Amendment IV) to the United States Constitution is the part of the Bill of Rights which guards against unreasonable searches and seizures. The amendment specifically also requires search and arrest warrants be judicially sanctioned and supported by probable cause. It was adopted as a response to the abuse of the writ of assistance, which is a type of general search warrant, in the American Revolution. Search and arrest should be limited in scope according to specific information supplied to the issuing court, usually by a law enforcement officer, who has sworn by it."

5. Therefore under US law, the use body scanners and patdowns is constitutionally forbidden.
Of course, the US government abiding strictly by the law would be a wonderfully refreshing thing to see!

Survey: 1 in 5 U.S. Adults Face Mental Illness

The government says 1 in 5 American adults suffered from mental illness during the past year. Most didn't receive treatment.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What concerns me is how rationally justified anger at a Federal government has now been classified as a disease.

As reported on 15 November, 2010 at:

http://www.networkworld.com/community/blog/people-who-resist-authority-stand-privacy-cou

"People Who Resist Authority, Stand Up for Privacy, Could Be Classified As Mentally Ill"

"According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), which is published by the American Psychiatric Association, nonconformity and freethinking is a mental illness labeled "oppositional defiant disorder" or ODD. If psychiatrists follow the Fourth Edition of DSM diagnosis guidelines, people who stand up for privacy and freedom might be labeled as mentally ill.

U.S.G.W.O. reports that it has confirmed "basically that anyone who disobeys authority or even questions authority is now considered mentally ill and can be thrown in a prison-like mental institution under tax payers dollars." I haven't read the entire book, but U.S.G.W.O. states that according to the psychiatric manual the following people would be diagnosed as having ODD:

* Freethinkers
* Constitutionalists
* Oath Keepers
* Nonconformists
* Peaceful Activists
* Peaceful Resistors
* Those who partake in Civil Disobedience
* Those that question Authority
* Highly creative artists"

YIKES: I'M 8 OUT OF 9 ON THIS LIST!! :-)

If this doesn't put a chill down the back of your spines, I don't know what will!

'Food Safety' Bill Reaching Congressional Conclusion

This tyrannical law puts all food production (yes, even food produced in your own garden) under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security. Yep -- the very same people running the TSA and its naked body scanner / passenger groping programs.

This law would also give the U.S. government the power to arrest any backyard food producer as a felon (a "smuggler") for merely growing lettuce and selling it at a local farmer's market.

Exposed: 200 Israeli army offices suspected of war crimes in Gaza

Redress Information & Analysis publishes the names, photographs and other details of 200 Israeli military commanders of various ranks suspected of war crimes during Operation Cast Lead against the people of Gaza, which resulted in the murder of more than 1,400 people, primarily civilians, including over 340 children. The information was received anonymously, presumably from someone with links to the israeli armed forces.

Bill would expose TSA screeners to laws prohibiting sexual assault

Ron Paul, a Republican congressman from Texas, introduced the American Traveler Dignity Act to the House on Wednesday in response to a growing controversy surrounding the use of body scanners and "enhanced" pat-downs being used by the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) at airports. The bill, HR 6416, would remove legal immunity from federal employees who subject an individual to any physical contact, x-rays, or aids in the creation of any part of a individual's body as a condition to travel in an aircraft.

End of Free Internet: US Senate Committee Approves Internet "Blacklist" Bill

It seems the lame duck Congressional session is becoming anything but unproductive. Yesterday, we saw the cloture of the Food Safety Modernization Act (S. 510), and today the Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act was unanimously approved by the US Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday with a 19-0 vote. The COICA has been overwhelmingly viewed as a corporate hijacking of the internet by mega-media cartels. Indeed, it is the end of the free internet as we now it.

Secure in Our Persons

Secure in Our Persons November 15th, 2010
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated…” – United States Constitution, 4th Amendment.
In the aftermath of 9/11, the U.S. federal government nationalized our transportation security system and established the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).. . There was an important legal change, however,...TSA screeners and screening procedures must now adhere to Constitutional limits on government authority. Airport screeners are not private entities representing private companies anymore; they are government agents that answer to you and me.

Fault found in Rockies could cause major quake

SALMON, Idaho – Scientists at Idaho State University have mapped a previously unknown and active seismic fault in the northern Rockies capable of unleashing an earthquake with a magnitude as high as 7.5. The newly discovered fault in central Idaho does not lie in a densely populated area. But Glenn Thackray, chairman of the university's geosciences department, said the 40-mile-long fracture in the Earth's crust at the base of the Sawtooth Mountains near the tiny mountain town of Stanley is cause for some concern.

Israelis insist they have US backing to build in East Jerusalem

Israel yesterday insisted it would keep building homes in the disputed East Jerusalem area, threatening to stall a US-proposed building moratorium aimed at reviving peace efforts.

Despite Washington having agreed to exclude the eastern part of the city from the 90-day moratorium, according to Israeli officials, it had still not sent a detailed letter on the understanding. Palestinians want building to halt in the West Bank and in Jerusalem, which they claim as their state. The US hopes a renewed moratorium will let Israel and the Palestinians work towards a deal on their future borders.

Native American link to Europe revealed in Icelandic DNA

A team of European researchers says the discovery of what appears to be a strain of First Nations DNA among a small group of Icelanders — which the scientists have linked to Viking voyages to Canada about 1,000 years ago — may represent the survival, at least genetically, of the Beothuk, victims of Canadian history's most tragic cultural extinction.

ARE TERRORISTS SUPPLYING OUR AIRPORT SCANNERS?

Two very dubious terror attacks, both seriously discredited, have provided the impetus for 70 American airports to buy scanners. The two attacks trace down to Yemen and an Al Qaeda cell that the government there has openly accused the State of Israel as funding and managing.

Why I Couldn't Pilot An Airplane After A TSA Pat-Down

Well, I beeped [in the metal detector], was offered the scanner and opted out instead to endure the pat down. I requested a private screening with the Captain as my witness (you always have the right to a witness.) They started in my shirt collar, went inside my pants waistband all the way around, up inside my crotch and squeezed around from the front each side and up the backside both sides. I was groped 4 times total! Next they rubbed my whole body down with a full palm pressure...including my buttocks and the front groin one inch either side of my fly. I exited without saying anything, the captain and myself just hanging our heads in shame. This is a new breed of LOW that I never thought I would allow…EVER. Webmaster's Commentary:

This has got to stop, period, end of discussion. It is simply punishment for those armed with the knowledge that the full body scanners will cause cancer.

Obama to give George Bush, Sr. the presidential Medal of Freedom

Former President George H.W. Bush is among 15 people selected to be awarded the presidential Medal of Freedom, the White House announced Wednesday night.

The Medal of Freedom, America's highest civilian honor, is awarded for "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."

Webmaster's Commentary:

"...meritorious contribution?!?"

Forgive me, folks:I am about to hurl.

TAKING PRIDE IN MURDER

They have no shame! The zionists are murderers and proud of it. The shirt pictured below became a best selling ‘souvenir’ via the Hebron Fund, which organised the ‘Settler’s Flotilla’. That was shortly after the ziobeast Goldstein went on a rampage in Hebron killing 39 Muslims at prayer services. The link was apparently removed recently to assume an air of ‘respectability’ (sic).

BOYCOTTER’S ‘FLASH-MOB’ PERFORMANCE IN TEL AVIV

ASSASSINATIONS CONTINUE IN GAZA

Just before sundown today I went for a short run along the Gaza shoreline. Passing families relaxing on the beach, I was reflecting on what a remarkably calm holiday Gaza was enjoying this Eid Al-Adha. I had thought too soon. When I returned to my apartment there was a missed call on my phone from minutes earlier. Emad, the director of Ma’an’s Gaza office, was calling to inform me that there was a deadly Israeli airstrike in Gaza City’s downtown.
