JP Morgan Admits To, Reduces Massive Silver Short Position, Proves Millions Of Conspiracy Theorists Correct

...“the decision by JPMorgan was an attempt to deflect public criticism of the bank’s dealings in silver, a person familiar with the matter said. The person added that the bank’s position in silver would from now on be “materially smaller” than in the past.” Of course, the latter is pure and total bullshit...

Army 'May Intervene Over Pakistan's Decline'

Pakistan's former president Pervez Musharraf has warned the army may have to intervene again in politics, if the country continues to decline. He added Pakistan may be forced to take matters into their own hands - which could include working with the Taliban - if it continues to feel alienated by the rest of the world.

Webmaster's Commentary: Musharraf appears to be very politely calling for a military coup in his home country as the condition which might pave the way for his return. The question would be whether the Pakistani people would want him back at this point, given the clouds of corruption which hovered over his presidency to the point of near impeachment.

Predictions Of Warm Winters Get Buried In Ice

Today things are indeed very different. Suddenly all the talk of warm winters in central Europe has disappeared from the media radar. Instead all the talk is now about hard winters coming to Europe – due to global warming, of course.

FLASHBACK 2000 - Hadley CRU - Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past

Britain's winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives. Sledges, snowmen, snowballs and the excitement of waking to find that the stuff has settled outside are all a rapidly diminishing part of Britain's culture, as warmer winters - which scientists are attributing to global climate change - produce not only fewer white Christmases, but fewer white Januaries and Februaries.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Gettin' harder to hide the decline, isn't it?

Bank of America admits fraud in US antitrust case

“Bank of America entities have agreed to pay a total of 137.3 million dollars in restitution to federal and state agencies for its participation in a conspiracy to rig bids in the municipal bond derivatives market,” the Department of Justice said in a statement.

My husband, the conscientious objector, has his fate decided on Friday

On Friday a 24-year-old navy medic faces a decision that could lead him to military prison after becoming one of the few conscientious objectors in the Royal Navy since the second world war. That man is my husband, Michael Lyons. . .

Rudd failed to consult Israel over call for nuclear inspection, Opposition claims

KEVIN Rudd's call for an inspection of Israel's nuclear facilities was made without any consultation with Jerusalem, the Opposition has claimed. Calls by Mr Rudd for Israel to sign up to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty are not new but his call for inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency is new, Israeli officials told The Australian.

Webmaster's Commentary: Why should Rudd be slammed for talking about the 6,000 lb gorilla in the living room, sitting on the Steinway?!? He is merely stating the obvious.

And not to put too fine a point on it, every dime of US aid going to Israel since the passage of the Symington Amendment has been illegal.

According to this amendment, no country can be given any US aid if they have a nuclear program, but are not a signatory to the NNPT, and refuse to have their sites inspected by the IAEA: Israel refuses to sign the NNPT, and refuses to have their nuclear sites inspected.

HAMAS IS HERE TO STAY

“The bottom-line: The fact that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians showed up for Hamas’ annual anniversary in Gaza on Tuesday is a clarion testimony that Hamas is here to stay, regardless of Israeli and American wishful thinking.”

RABBIS MAKE STRANGE BEDFELLOWS

NO!!!! This is not a post dealing with anything kinky, so if that’s what you are looking for, you are obviously in the wrong place. This is about rabbis that are so divorced from reality that they literally put you to sleep with the yarns they spin. Anyone who has ever attended services in a synagogue or were present at a Bar Mitzvah or wedding where a rabbi spoke can attest to the fact that most of the audience is asleep within minutes of the presentation. Subject matter could range from an ‘incident’ that occurred three or four thousand years go to the anniversary of the passing of some rabbi or ‘scholar’, also ages ago. They speak as if you know what they are talking about and never seem to realise that literally no one is listening.

Israel Seeks 20 Additional F-35s After Failure of U.S. Swap for Peace Plan

Israel’s ambassador to the U.S., Michael Oren, said his country is still seeking 20 additional F- 35 fighter jets even after the failure of a U.S. offer to provide the planes in exchange for a freeze on Israeli settlement construction. The 20 jets would be in addition to the 20 Lockheed Martin Corp.-built F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, valued at about $2.8 billion, that Israel ordered in October, Oren told Bloomberg News reporters and editors in Washington yesterday.

Webmaster's Commentary: Twenty additional planes, that the American public is supposed to pay for, while Israel does nothing in the direction of peace, homeless Vets are sleeping in our streets, and American infrastructure rots away?!?

If Congress allows this to happen, the people of the US must realize, clearly, that Congress no longer cares for the needs and concerns of Americans, and is solely concerned about the needs and concerns of the Israeli government only.

Democrats' budget bill: $1.1 trillion; 1,900 pages

Defying the political odds, Senate Democrats rolled out a year-end, governmentwide spending bill Tuesday that cuts more than $26 billion from President Barack Obama’s 2011 requests even as it holds firm to thousands of the appropriations earmarks so adamantly opposed by critics of Congress. Filling more than 1,900 pages, the $1.1 trillion measure represents an increase of less than 2 percent in annual spending but makes for an easy target of ridicule — a last stand by the Senate’s old bulls before the tea party takeover. In a scene reminiscent of the movie “Casablanca,” top Republicans expressed shock, shock that there was gambling still in Rick’s Cafe even after their own members have been quietly working to write the bill and gather GOP votes for passage.

Webmaster's Commentary: It is painfully obvious from this bill that the people who wrote it never had to make payroll, or keep the lights on in their offices.

Copyright Extortionist Righthaven Sues Drudge: Backed by CFR, Rockefeller, and Monsanto Money

At first glance it would seem that Drudge would crush this puny ambulance-chasing law business, yet when these globalists are lurking in the nearby shadows, you can bet these copyright infringement cases have an ulterior motive of silencing their critics. This is nothing more than a blatant tactic to squelch free speech in the Internet’s swelling “infowar.”

Investors told forget savings accounts, think of shares

Britain's 38 million savers have been urged to invest their money in the stock market after being warned that for many of them it is now a "waste of time" putting their cash into a savings account. Henry Wallop and Gary White Telegraph The warning came after official figures indicated that the cost of living had increased once again in November, making it nearly impossible to earn a real rate of return on any bank or building society savings product.

Afghanistan / Graveyard Of Imperial Empires Will Soon Include U.S.

Six U.S.Soldiers were killed and more than a dozen American and Afghan troops were wounded last Sunday morning by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. American fatalities have risen steadily for five years, with 479 American soldiers killed so far in 2010 ~ that’s more than three times the 155 casualties in 2008. We are now paying the daily price of a hated occupying force with over 1430 Americans killed in action so far in Afghanistan. Last Friday, President Obama paid a surprise four-hour visit to American troops at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. There, in a pep talk to the troops, he echoed the Bush style predictions of victory, assuring “the finest fighting force that the world has ever known” that “you will succeed in your mission!” But, I ask ~ What is the mission?

ISRAELI RABBIS AND THE ISSUE OF REAL ESTATE – AN ANALYSIS BY DR. LAWRENCE DAVIDSON

To all those Jews out there who have tried to ignore what is going on, remember the words of Desmond Tutu, “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.” If you value the future viability of your religion you must join in the effort to implement the rights of all the Palestinians. It is Israeli behavior that has made their fate one with yours.

In bid to break Taliban, US embraces more firepower

The US military has dramatically stepped up air strikes and manhunts in Afghanistan in a bid to weaken the Taliban, reflecting a return to "counter-terrorism" tactics. Dropping more bombs and carrying out more raids by special operations forces underscores a sense of urgency in the war effort, as the White House prepares to release a strategy review and commanders try to change the dynamic of a conflict mired in stalemate.

Webmaster's Commentary: This war is completely unwinnable militarily, and always has been. The continuation of an approach which hasn't worked, and expecting a different outcome, is one of the classic definitions of insanity.

EU confident Lisbon Treaty amendment will not need referendum

Editor's Note: Just as we predicted in our piece "Powerful EU Countries May Reform 'Mission Impossible' Treaty in Secret," the EU is going to ram through amendments without a vote. Can the blatant destruction of national sovereignty be anymore obvious?

Arthur Beesley Irish Times

EU LEADERS are poised this week to agree an amendment to the Lisbon Treaty to create a permanent rescue fund for euro countries, a step they believe they can take without prompting another Irish referendum.

Here It Comes: "Cybersecurity Standards", Government Internet Control Gets Serious

Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md has introduced a bill that would require the government and the private sector to require minimum cybsersecurity standards for devices that connect to the Internet. Webmaster's Commentary:

Well, if CyberSecurity monitors the internet with the same effectiveness that SEC monitored Bernie Madoff or MMS monitored Gulf drilling safety, absolutely nothing will happen except the fees will go up.

Israel bars entry to W Bank firemen

Israel has barred a group of Palestinian firefighters from attending a ceremony where they were to be honoured for their help in battling a deadly forest fire last week. At least 10 Palestinians were invited to attend the event in northern Israel, where the four-day fire left 41 people dead and ravaged large swaths of forest.

But Ahmad Tibi, an Arab member of the Israeli parliament and one of the organisers of the ceremony, said the event was cancelled when three of the Palestinians were refused entry permits to Israel on Tuesday. He said the military had turned the firefighters away on security grounds. "It's a theatre of the absurd," he told The Associated Press news agency. "This is a regular day-to-day practice of the occupation, and it exposes its ugly face."

It's official! You're on your own

Some of us have known this for a long time. Some of us just found out and some will find out very soon. There are few, if any, elected officials who really care about our interests unless we're one of the few thousand ultra rich who control Congress and the White House.

YouTube Gives Users Ability To Flag Content That Promotes Terrorism

Craig Kanalley Huffington Post

In response to concerns it's become a means of radical promotion, YouTube has now added an option for flagging content that is terrorist in nature. When you flag a video as inappropriate, "promotes terrorism" now appears as an option under the "violent or repulsive content" category on the Google-owned website.

How Can so Many People be so Incredibly Blind?

You ask yourself, just how twisted, indifferent and malevolent can some people get before the universe begins to construct an international gallows franchise everywhere there needs to be one. Each day we see unknown wannabees and the usual suspects, vying and competing to see which of them can be registered and remembered as one of the greatest assholes of our time. They’re looking for immortality in all the wrong places, while imagining its location is a suite at The Plaza, followed by a cameo appearance as an ornate urn in the remake of “The Loved One”.

Kids write Santa this year for basic needs instead of toys

Santa Claus and his elves are seeing more heartbreaking letters this year as children cite their parents' economic troubles in their wish lists. U.S. Postal Service workers who handle letters addressed to Santa at the North Pole say more letters ask for basics — coats, socks and shoes — rather than Barbie dolls, video games and computers.

What would stop you from putting up a few billion dollars? This is what China is doing. You’re China, you were refused IMF gold, so you are going to quietly sell your treasuries, or swap your treasuries more likely for a spot financial transaction. What they are doing is buying spot, which is a currency transaction because you can’t get the metal. The physical market has now completely diverged from the paper market.

Anti-austerity riots erupt amid Greece strike

Nicholas Paphitis and Derek Gatopolous Associated Press

ATHENS, Greece — Protesters clashed with riot police across Athens on Wednesday, torching cars, hurling gasoline bombs and sending Christmas shoppers fleeing in panic during a general strike against the government's latest austerity measures.

Gold Daily and Silver Weekly Charts And One Possible Unfolding of the Endgame

There should be no confusion that this involves not only a few large Wall Street players, but also elements, past and present, in the US Treasury and the Federal Reserve. It makes the unfolding insider trading scandal look like a neighborhood numbers racket. Therefore we should not discount the possibility that if a default should occur there will be an emotional and political reaction put forward as a means of deflecting the disclosure of the true nature of the financial corruption.

Bank of England boss Mervyn King, not Gordon Brown, 'was bank bailout mastermind'

Mervyn King plotted a secret bailout of the banking system six months before Gordon Brown decided to take action. Webmaster's Commentary:

The problem with a private central bank issuing the public currency at interest is that eventually they start thinking they really are the government!

Globalists Can Win Cyber War, But Not Information War

Eric Blair Activist Post The establishment has been desperately trying to implement legal control over the Internet. They're attacking freedom of speech and the open Internet from all angles; through government tools, corporate methods, and even the courts. All three of these methods are converging in the WikiLeaks case, but that's not the only battle being waged in the so-called "all-out cyber war."

9-11 Firefighters-Three Secondary Explosions in Lobby of WTC

Tis the Season for Treason [Satire]

As a loyal American, I feel that I must report some extremely suspicious behavior to the FBI guys who read (and who do seem to very much like) this blog. I mean, I'm just doing what it says on the Big Brother signs that are on our highways that say something like "If you see someone who looks like a Muslim please call 666-666-ARAB" or something like that. Or maybe it just says to call if you see something suspicious – but maybe especially if it is a Muslim. Something like that anyway. Anyway, FBI guys, some psycho-looking ... is trying to get people to stalk me and no doubt lots of my friends and even your friends. Here's the proof. Please have her arrested immediately....

Against criticism

Last month, Joseph A Klein wrote an article for the Canada Free Press criticising the Obama administration for joining the UN Human Rights Council.

The Council had met and found fault with a number of human rights violations by America. For this, Klein verbally bashed the Council. Klein is author of the book Global Deception: The UN's Stealth Assault on America's Freedom." Having "studied the United Nations for many years" Klein says he "watched it degenerate into an anti-Western echo chamber that does more harm than good." The point of Klein's writing is that the UN is wrong because of its criticism of the US and Israel.

Saeb Erakat: The returning issue of Palestine's refugees

Return and restitution as the remedy of choice has a strong international precedent. For example, in the context of the Dayton Accords, concluded under the auspices of the United States, the return of Bosnian refugees to their homes and restitution of their property was considered a "non-negotiable" right that was critical to crafting a durable solution. American leaders such as Madeleine Albright, then the secretary of state, openly called on Bosnian Muslim refugees to return en masse to their former places of residence.

In Bosnia and in Palestine, the return of refugees has been considered absolutely necessary for the stability of peace. Any deal that does not respect the rights of refugees has been viewed as bearing the seed of its inevitable failure.

Kosovo PM is head of human organ and arms ring, Council of Europe reports.

The report states: "As and when the transplant surgeons were confirmed to be in position and ready to operate, the captives were brought out of the 'safe house' individually, summarily executed by a KLA gunman, and their corpses transported swiftly to the operating clinic." What the Swiss based organization is careful to avoid stating is that the "transplant surgeons" were Israelis and that the "buyers" were Israelis and that the organs were placed on ice and two to ten hours later were in Israel and were for sale.

Israeli law to bar lawyers from visiting Palestinian prisoners

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- Israel's legislative council approved a new draft law Monday that would deny Palestinian prisoners the right to visits from their lawyers for a period of one year following detention. The law, which amends guidelines for the treatment of prisoners, extends to the Israeli courts the power to ban Palestinian prisoners from visits by their legal representatives for an entire year, up significantly to the current law which sets a three week limit.

Post Mortem for the World's "Reserve Currency"

As Volcker opines, "We’re faced with broken financial markets, underperformance of our economy and a fractious political climate" because we no longer have "a successful governing model" that the rest of the world admires. Absent radical restructuring and a new regulatory regime, the dollar will be unable to maintain its "exceptional role" as the world's reserve currency. It's only a matter of time.

JP Morgan Covering Silver Short Position

"NIA estimates that over the past 30 days, JP Morgan has covered approximately 4,000 silver contracts, which has corresponded with about a $4 per ounce upward move in the price of silver. We estimate JP Morgan to still be short approximately 26,000 silver contracts or 130 million ounces of silver, which equals about 18% of worldwide annual silver production from mining of 709.6 million ounces. If JP Morgan covers their entire silver short position and the price of silver was to continue rising by $1 for every 1,000 silver contracts that JP Morgan covers, silver would rise to $56 per ounce."

Disabled Protester Schools BBC Anchor Who Defends Abusive Police

Editor's Note: This MUST SEE clip is a microcosm of the whole struggle between the matrix of control and the fight for human liberty. This chap at the BBC is so blatantly defending the establishment's abusive police state against a physically helpless chap -- albeit one with very dangerous ideas of a people's revolution over corrupt criminal governments, of which the BBC anchor is so obviously a shill.

10 Signs That Confidence In U.S. Treasuries Is Dying And That Financial Armageddon May Be Approaching

Selling government debt is a gigantic confidence game. For decades, investors all over the globe have gobbled up massive amounts of U.S. debt at incredibly low interest rates because they believed that it was a certainly that they would be paid back and be able to make a little bit of profit on top of it. Unfortunately, things have changed. Confidence is U.S. Treasuries is dying, and if confidence in U.S. government debt completely collapses at some point we could literally be looking at financial Armageddon. Why is that so? Well, when the world totally loses faith in U.S. Treasuries, interest rates on U.S. Treasuries will have to keep going up until enough investors are found to buy them.

California lists 99,000 foreclosures for sale on the MLS but 372,000 homes are active in the foreclosure process.

Getting lost in the numbers is an easy thing especially with the magnitude of numbers being tossed out by Wall Street and our government. I think many in the country have just become apathetic to “billions” or “trillions” of dollars being thrown around as if this was a common part of daily dialogue. When California had its first budget fiasco with the housing market imploding a few years back a few billion dollars captivated the attention of the state for months on end. Today, even the prospect of a $28 billion deficit hardly seems to garner any attention.
