An example of blatant propagand from Wikileaks...

Around a third of young British Muslims favour killing in the name of Islam, according to a survey revealed by the WikiLeaks' publication of U.S. diplomatic cables.

Climate Science Coalition Vindicated

“But we note that, after 12 months of futile attempts to persuade the public, misleading answers to questions in the Parliament from ACT and reluctant but gradual capitulation from NIWA, their relentless defence of the old temperature series has simply evaporated. They’ve finally given in, but without our efforts the faulty graph would still be there.” Mr Treadgold described the replacement as a full exoneration of the criticism levelled at the Coalition by NIWA, saying: “All we ever asked for were the adjustments and the reasons for them. The discourteous reproaches and misleading academic references we received from them were surprising. For them finally to agree with us, throw away the series and recreate it is a complete vindication for us.” Webmaster's Commentary: Snow falling on New South Wales the first day of summer probably didn't hurt.

Gene Healy: Homeland Security is getting stuck on stupid

More fun for area commuters: Last Thursday, DC Metro officials announced that "anti-terrorism teams" will immediately begin conducting random bag searches. Metro released plans for a similar scheme in October 2008, but never implemented it. That month, in an online chat with Washington Post readers, Transit Police Chief Michael Taborn was woefully short on straight answers.

"Can I carry my pocketknife?" an Alexandria resident asked, "and what if I'm returning from the supermarket with lighter fluid for my grill?" Owners of "contraband" will be "subject to prosecution," Taborn replied: "If you are unsure of whether a particular item is contraband, you should seek legal advice." So budget that into your travel time.

Webmaster's Commentary: These searches have nothing to do with making Americans more safe, and everything to do with cowing Americans into accepting every bit of nasty, capricious, and completely illegal behavior the Federal government wishes to throw at them.

Australia Rejects Israeli-Ordered Media Censorship

As in the US, which does ban Al Manar, the popular station’s programming would, even if banned, still be available via internet live streaming. Al Manar (“ the Beacon”), affiliated with the Lebanese political party, social service organization and resistance movement Hezbollah, has been the target of an intensive Israel instigated media assault for several years. Silvan Shalom, former Israeli Foreign Minister, at a 2004 Herzliya Convention, outlined his governments policy succinctly: “The Israeli Foreign Ministry intends to work actively to have Al Manar banned in other countries around the globe.

Webmaster's Commentary: "YOU WILL ONLY SEE WHAT WE ALLOW YOU TO SEE, PUTZ!!!!" -- Israel

Pakistan: Alliance Over if US Troops Expand War Across Border

Pakistani military leaders are warning the United States to keep their troops on the Afghan side of the border, with officials cautioning that the long-standing anti-terror alliance between the two countries would be ended formally if the United States invades. US military officials are said to be pushing not only for permission to launch raids into Pakistan’s tribal areas, but are hoping to increase the rate so much as to make such raids a “routine” part of the Afghan War.

Webmaster's Commentary: Memo to the Pakistani military and civilian leadership: the "friendship" of the US government can turn south faster than the speed of sound, if such a sudden and erratic shift meets the US's geopolitical agenda. It appears that this is now the case with Pakistan.

Israel's media campaign in Europe

Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs has summoned his country's ambassadors in European countries and given them clear instructions to make use of public relations experts to improve the image of the Zionist state in European public opinion.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Okay, so we're racists. But we are rich, sweet-smelling racists! And you gotta admit; we're really good at it, too! ... Okay, that isn't working, We better wag the Holocaust at them, Those idiots always fall for that one." -- Israel

Government liabilities rose $2 trillion in FY 2010: Treasury

The U.S. government fell deeper into the red in fiscal 2010 with net liabilities swelling more than $2 trillion as commitments on government debt and federal benefits rose, a U.S. Treasury report showed on Tuesday. The Financial Report of the United States, which applies corporate-style accrual accounting methods to Washington, showed the government's liabilities exceeded assets by $13.473 trillion. That compared with a $11.456 trillion gap a year earlier.

Webmaster's Commentary: One has to wonder just how long the US Federal government can continue to function without collapsing under the weight of this massive debtload.

Israel: Jonathan Pollard Freedom Will Be Pressed

Israel's prime minister on Tuesday pledged to press President Barack Obama to release a convicted Israeli spy sentenced to life in prison – a step that could reopen a case that has been an ongoing source of tension between the two allies for 25 years. Israeli leaders, including Netanyahu, have frequently raised the Pollard case in the past, but have been rebuffed by both Democratic and Republican administrations. The case is vividly remembered by members of the military and intelligence communities. In those circles, any leniency for Pollard is steadfastly opposed.

Webmaster's Commentary: Memo to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu: Pollard was a traitor to this country, whose work cost the American intelligence community dearly.

The Israeli government should be grateful he was not executed for his crimes, and leave it at that, period, end of discussion.

On WikiLeaks, 9/11 and American Terror

It would be too easy to transform this article into a personal attack against Julian Assange, WikiLeaks editor. Yet, I won’t do that. He may be a CIA agent, or just being used for the target I’m about to describe. I’ll assume he’s clean and that WikiLeaks is being used by the CIA. This is easy: WikiLeaks accepts anonymous contributions. As far as I know all the material published by WikiLeaks is disinformation provided by the CIA. What is clear is that WikiLeaks serves long term goals of the US Government: the unbalanced data presented testifies that. Also formal sources claim that. On December 8, the Australian government communicated via Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd that the United States, not the WikiLeaks founder, was to blame for the unauthorized release of U.S.

Whistleblower in Coventry: Dr Yolande Lucire and Big Pharma

Australia lags well behind the US and Britain in facing up to the malfeasance of multinational drug companies pushing unsafe products. Very often Big Pharma itself has largely conjured up the booming markets in which its dubious drugs offer expensive treatment for dubious medical conditions. The biggest and most lucrative scandals have been in two types of second-generation drugs: anti-depressants or SSRIs - Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, etc, and "atypical" antipsychotics such as Zyprexa, Risperdal and Seroquel which were known from their licensing to be ineffective for the vast majority of clinical trial subjects and up to twice as bad for inducing suicide as antidepressants.

Six Israeli warplanes fly over Lebanon

Six Israeli military aircraft have penetrated Lebanese airspace again and have flown over parts of the country in violation of a UN Security Council resolution. Webmaster's Commentary:

What's any of This got to do with That?

It takes a tremendous amount of force and fearlessness to go against the common grain and live in varying states of pariah status. One has to disappoint friends and family and sometimes walk some long roads without being understood, while incapable of presenting any convincing explanation. If you imagine that tales like these always end in madness; suicide, censure, poverty and whatever negative connotation you can come up with, think again. Anyone who is sincere and perseveres, gains the friendship of angels and all those invisible beings who assist humanity, just as demons work the other side of the court.

Bankers vow to quit if bonus payouts are curbed

Nearly half of workers in the financial services sector are threatening to find new jobs if their expectations for bumper bonuses are not met this Christmas.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Pope’s comments on clerical abuse stir fury in victims

Clerical abuse victims around the world have reacted in fury to Pope Benedict’s claim yesterday that as recently as the 1970s pedophilia wasn’t considered an “absolute evil”.

Israel waving Holocaust around. Means they are getting ready to bomb somebody.

Israel moves to counter Gaza militants' new weapon

Webmaster's Commentary:

Awfully pale skin for a Palestinian. Also rather well-fed looking for a Palestinian.

It doesn’t get much colder than this

For those looking for a ray of good news, it is unlikely that temperatures will fall any further.

“We’re about at low as we come,” said Michael Christiansen of the Danish Meteorological Institute, “Minus 22.5 will be a pretty tough one to break.”

State-installed energy systems fail to pay way

Solar panels were installed behind trees, covered with snow, shaded by a barn or not tilted toward the sun. Wind turbines were blocked by trees or shut down for safety reasons and then not turned back on when the wind was strong. Heat pumps were turned off by homeowners because they were too noisy. Webmaster's Commentary: Yep, it's government work!

CBS 60 Minutes Finally Gets One Right?

Greg Hunter USA Watchdog

I have been pretty hard on “CBS Minutes” for doing fluff interviews with Fed Chief Ben Bernanke and not asking the hard questions that would be obvious to a freshman journalism student. In all fairness, I have to admit last Sunday’s story called “The Day of Reckoning” was an eye opening, hard hitting piece...

Banks accused of illegally looting homes

'When a burglar goes in, they don't take your photos and your husband's ashes,' says alleged victim of wrongful foreclosure

Andrew Martin The New York Times

TRUCKEE, Calif. — When Mimi Ash arrived at her mountain chalet here for a weekend ski trip, she discovered that someone had broken into the home and changed the locks.

When she finally got into the house, it was empty. All of her possessions were gone: furniture, her son’s ski medals, winter clothes and family photos...

Human rights NGO monitoring Palestinians' legal rights gets robbed of internal use documents

Hundreds of documents have been stolen from the database of Yesh Din, the NGO monitoring the legal situation of Palestinians in the West Bank. The group's legal adviser, attorney Michael Sfard, said his office also had also internal use documents stolen. This may be the first case of information theft from a human rights organization in Israel. No signs of forced entry were found in either Tel Aviv office, raising the suspicion that rightist groups have managed to plant a mole in the organization.

Government to Control the 'Net – Good Luck With That!

Conclusion: Millions and billions of words will be written about the coming government (power elite) control of the Internet; how bad it will be; how much worse it could be than it is. Plenty of business models will be floated. Much hair will be pulled out. Clothes will be rent, metaphorically anyway. But in the end, it likely will not matter much. Instinctively, humans will expand the Internet because they must. The government will do this. But others will do THAT. It is not going to be easily or neatly controllable. It is not going to be conveniently regulated. It is not going to be turned off by a switch installed at the White House. It is going to cause fundamental change. It already has.

SLAVE TO SHAME, WHIPPED BY DECEIT – BY WILLIAM COOK

Today Obama is a humiliated, downtrodden, whipped slave of the Congress and its Overseer, Bibi Netanyahu, who wheels Resolution 1734 above his head like Overseer Covey held aloft his hickory slat as he drove it into Douglass’ head. Covey’s greatest asset was his ability to deceive, to creep up on his slaves stealthily, and lash his savage wrath on the shackled slaves.

RACHEL CORRIE’S DREAM [MUST SEE VIDEO]

Rachel Corrie went to Palestine, discovered the truth about what exactly is happening to the Palestinian people by the hands of the brutal Israeli occupation, and decided to take up the fight for their cause. For that, she paid the ultimate price….

ISRAELI ETHNIC CLEANSING SURGE

At the time of year when huge swathes of the world's population remember the birth of Jesus in the little town of Bethlehem, let us remember that Palestinian Christians in that special place are suffering along with their Muslim neighbours. Ethnic cleansing is a crime against humanity. Failure to act makes our governments complicit in that crime.

Thanks to “Dirty Harry” Reid: An overt act of betrayal by both Houses of Congress

Marti Oakley, Contributing Writer Activist Post

Well! Just in time for the rigged “vote” on the fake food safety bills in the House and Senate, CBS news claimed that terrorists…..in a place far, far away….were planning to poison food in hotels and restaurants in the United States...

There's a mini ice age coming, says man who beats weather experts

Is he barmy? Of course he may be just a fluke-artist. It may be just luck that he has apparently predicted recent weather patterns more accurately than government-sponsored scientists. Nothing he says, to my mind, disproves the view of the overwhelming majority of scientists, that our species is putting so much extra CO? into the atmosphere that we must expect global warming.

Fluoride in Water Linked to Lower IQ in Children

Exposure to fluoride may lower children's intelligence says a study pre-published in Environmental Health Perspectives, a publication of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (online December 17, 2010). Fluoride is added to 70% of U.S. public drinking water supplies.

Editor of the Tucson Weekly Attacks "Conspiracy Theorists"

Elections integrity activists who are actually doing something or members of 9/11 Truth movement have more than the wrath of Cass Sunstein to deal with in Tucson. It's the puerile "Get Out of Town" smack talk by the pseudo-hip, paper-and-ink info gatekeepers.

I am the person Tucson Weekly editor Jim Boegle describes as one of the "more annoying and illogical members of the election integrity crowd". He tries to denigrate those who believe the RTA Election was rigged by referring to the fact that I think 9/11 was an inside job.
