Carmel inferno proves Israel can't afford war with Iran

Just like Israel's army in the 1973 Yom Kippur war, the emergency services were wholly unprepared to handle a shock on this scale.

A Special Report on the BP Gulf Oil Spill

The pictorial evidence tells the whole story.
Especially that the BP narrative is nothing but a corporate-created illusion – a web of fabrication spun in collaboration with the US Federal Government and Mainstream Media. Big Oil, as well as the Military-Industrial Complex, have aided and abetted this whole scheme and info blackout because the very future of the Oil & Gas Industry is at stake, as is the future of the US Empire which sprawls around the world and requires vast amounts of hydrocarbon fuel.

Japan, U.S. launch largest-ever joint defense drills

Following straight on the heels of similar drills held in the Yellow Sea between the U.S. and South Korea, the drills in Japan, which will run for eight days at bases across Japan and in the air and on waters around them and are being called the "Keen Sword" drills will involve more than 34,000 Japanese and 10,000 American troops.

n terms of hardware, about 400 planes and 60 warships will participate, including the nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington, which took part in the Korean peninsula exercises, as well as Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force's next- generation Aegis-equipped battle ships. Webmaster's Commentary: Japan's Defense Minister is being disingenuous in the extreme when making the statement that this exercise is "...not targeting a specific country."

The world knows that this is all about North Korea.

Cancer 'is purely man-made' say scientists after finding almost no trace of disease in Egyptian mummies

'The virtual absence of malignancies in mummies must be interpreted as indicating their rarity in antiquity, indicating that cancer-causing factors are limited to societies affected by modern industrialisation.' Webmaster's Commentary:

Being fondled by people wearing white lab coats is what causes cancer.

JPMorgan Says Crude Oil Price Will Reach $120 a Barrel Before End of 2012

Oil will advance to $120 a barrel before the end of 2012 as consumption grows in emerging economies, according to JPMorgan Chase & Co.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, which is responsible for about 40 percent of global supplies, is unlikely to increase production in the first half of next year unless prices surge through $100 a barrel, the bank said in a report today. Futures traded around $87 a barrel in New York today, near their highest price in two years. Webmaster's Commentary: If true, this will deliver the knockout punch to any hope of true economic recovery here in the US.

Nov. Jobs Report Far Worse Than Expected; Unemployment Rate Up to 9.8%

Webmaster's Commentary:

Remember earlier in the week we were being told that the November numbers were lower and consumer confidence was high, and I predicted that these were just propaganda stunts to flog you all into the Christmas shopping paddock?

Well, those optimistic numbers were lies, and probably this one is as well. People who have run out of unemployment benefits are no longer counted as unemployed but are re-categorized in an accounting trick to keep the official unemployment figures as low as possible. Non-government experts are estimating unemployment at 23%. A family friend in California says their local unemployment has hit 30%. That exceeds the unemployment levels of the Great Depression.

South Korea raises rhetoric against the North

Kim Kwan-jin, a retired general, was speaking at a parliamentary meeting confirming him as new defense minister, a day after U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said North Korea threatened the region and the world.

"If there are further provocations, we will definitely use aircraft to bomb North Korea," Kim said when asked how he would respond to another attack after last week's North Korean bombardment of an island near their disputed border, killing two South Korean marines and two civilians. But, in a sign any escalation was being kept in check, a joint industrial complex shared by the two Koreas in the North was still operating, with 200 South Koreans crossing the border on Friday. And North Korea's sharp rhetoric has noticeably waned over the past two days. Webmaster's Commentary: Let us hope that cooler heads prevail throughout the region.War between North and South Korea is a very, very bad idea, because it will inevitably bring China in on North Korea's side, and the US in on South Korea's side. Unfortunately, the sabre-rattling between South Korea and the US doesn't bode well for an ultimate avoidance of a military conflict here.

China issues warning over US-S.Korea-Japan talks

China, after being snubbed in its call for six-way talks on North Korea, has warned the United States, Japan and South Korea not to "intensify confrontation" at a meeting next week in Washington. Webmaster's Commentary: Unfortunately, what will most probably happen will be the escalating of tensions with North Korea as a result of this meeting on Monday. Please remember: Japan and the US are holding exercises in the region starting today, and next week, South Korea will be holding their "regular" live fire exercises. These actions are not the actions of nations eager to lessen the heightened state of conflict, but the actions of nations eager to enhance that state of conflict.

The Deadly Question for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter

Webmaster's Commentary:

The very best that America can make is already obsolete rolling out the door.

As I keep saying, the very best reason to avoid WW3 is that the USA will lose it.

China Is `Scared' of U.S. Monetary Policy, Rogoff, Rickards Say

Policy makers in China, which holds $883.5 billion in U.S. Treasuries, are concerned the nation with the world’s biggest economy is debasing its currency, according to Kenneth S. Rogoff and James Rickards. The world is in the early stages of a currency war, said Rickards, chief financial and administrative officer of Oro Capital Advisors LLC. Rickards, Rogoff, a professor of economics and public policy at Harvard University, and Laurence H. Meyer, co-founder of Macroeconomic Advisers LLC, spoke today at the Bloomberg Hedge Funds 2010 conference in New York.

Webmaster's Commentary: Who in their right mind in China wouldn't be worried about the debasement of the value of that $883.5 billion dollars in US Treasuries, coupled with the fact that the US government has absolutely no way to pay China back?!?

Bloomberg Dec 1 2010

At 16 seconds, it is reported that Bank of America was one beneficiary of the Federal Reserve's generosity.

Which is weird because I recall that Bank of America made a big deal out of claiming they did not have to take any government bailout money!

Looks like BofA's word cannot be trusted!

Elitist Bankers and Congressional Leadership are Plotting to Stop Ron Paul

Crisis-Hit Banks Flooded Fed with Junk

Banks flooded the Federal Reserve with billions of dollars in “junk bonds” and other low-grade collateral in exchange for much-needed liquidity during the crisis, as the financial sector struggled under a crippling credit crunch, new data show. Webmaster's Commentary:

Not quite. What is happening here is that foreign banks, now aware that Wall Street was selling them fraudulent mortgage-backed securities, are doing "putbacks", i.e. demanding the US make good on the bad paper or risk having the entire US financial industry exposed as a bunch of Bernie Madoff clones. That is why when the Fed was handing out that $9 trillion, they did not want to tell anyone where that money went.

Now that a change in the law forced them to reveal who got the money, the American people are wondering just who is expected to repay that $9 trillion, and since there is no way the Fed can make a profit on returned fraudulent mortgages, and since Wall Street still hopes to conceal from the American people the Mortgage-Backed Securities fraud that destroyed the economy and looted their homes, this is the start of the "Gee, we're sorry, but all those foreign banks fooled us and the American taxpayer has to cover that $9 trillion" propaganda.

WikiLeaks: "We got stuff about UFOs!!!! (Honest!)"

Assange said they do have real material which relates to UFOs. "It s worth noting that in yet-to-be-published parts of the cablegate archive there are indeed references to UFOs," he said, without providing other information. Webmaster's Commentary: Pathetic attempt to hold the public interest.

Snow causes more travel problems as temperatures drop to -20C

The freezing weather, which fell to -20C overnight in parts of Scotland, continues to severely disrupt travel across the country, and has claimed the lives of two pensioners found dead in their gardens in Cumbria.

A Month After Elections, 200,000 Votes Found

The city’s Board of Elections routinely reminds New Yorkers that the election night vote count is unofficial and preliminary. Still, the difference in the results from Nov. 2 and in the returns formally certified by the board on Wednesday seems striking: The board found 195,055 votes, or 17 percent more votes, than were originally reported. That differential — which nearly equals the total vote for governor in the Bronx and Staten Island combined — does not include an additional 28,442 affidavit ballots that New Yorkers cast at the polls on Election Day because of missing registrations or other reasons and another 30,665 absentee and military ballots and scattered write-in votes.

PROPAGANDISTS READING WRH; SHUT DOWN WIKILEAKS.ORG DOMAIN!

Webmaster's Commentary:

Days ago I pointed out that DHS had shut down dozens of domains for copyright infringement in the weeks before the Wikileaks document dump, but in the 6 months between the arrest of intelligence analyst Bradly Manning and WikiLeak's release of the documents Manning supposedly leaked, DHS had done nothing to shut the domain for WikiLeaks even though the documents are all supposedly classified!

Today, with much media fanfare, the US has shut down the domain WikiLeaks.org. It is being proclaimed across ABCNNBBCBS ... together with the new and still untouched new WikiLeaks domain where people can still read those nasty ol' classified documents the government is pretending they don;t want you to read!

The good news is the propagandists are reacting to us instead of the other way around. They have lost the initiative, which means they have lost the battle.

Lawyer Kurt Haskell, one of his potential victims, says Underwear Bomber is a "mere patsy"

It has been nearly nine months since Lori and I were almost killed by the Underwear Bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. For the first few months, Lori and I were very vocal over the media blackout and corresponding cover up to the real story of the Christmas Day events. If anyone is not familiar with our experience, our story can be read here in this blog. For the past few months, we have chosen to sit back and watch as the trial, or lack thereof, plays out in the courthouse we regularly practice in. While the media blackout to the true events continues, the failed attack on our credibility has been replaced with deafening silence as to our eyewitness account. To us, this matter has never been about seeking vengeance against the Underwear Bomber. When taking our eyewitness account and adding it to the small amount of honest facts that have come out, one can only recognize the Underwear Bomber as a mere patsy. It is quite shocking that, thus far, the Underwear Bomber hasn't been forever silenced as other patsies that have come before him. What has led me to write this update is the following article:

Report: Homeland Security Compiling TSA Enemies List

One concern expressed repeatedly is the notion that the TSA, not content to trample on just the Fourth Amendment rights of Americans, is now moving to stifle the right to free speech as well. “The First Amendment is in more serious jeopardy than one might have previously imagined,” noted author Edward Cline, a contributing editor to Family Security Matters. “Do not cave in to the TSA’s 'conditioning' to make your silence a measure of normalcy,” Cline concluded. “The government’s intention is to inure Americans to living in a state of obedient and submissive servitude.”

Wikileaks: US Hits Back At Israel

These are likely the first of many retaliatory moves by intelligence agencies around the world against Israel. As one informed source put it, "Israel overplayed its hand with these Wikileaks releases, now it will suffer the 'blow-back."

FIRE NEXT TIME

In spite of its nuclear power, its criminal army, the occupation, the Mossad and its lobbies all over the world, Israel seems to be very vulnerable. It is devastatingly alienated from the land it claims to own. Like the pine tree, Israel and the Israeli are foreign to the region. We can only hope that Israel will learn from this…. learn to be a MENTCH! Learn to give as well as take. Learn that its very survival depends on this. The world is not the enemy of Israel, Israel is the enemy of the world. This has to change.

New York City to deploy more emergency ambulances to harvest victims' organs

(NaturalNews) The City of New York recently launched a new emergency services pilot program that seems more like something out of a science fiction movie than a real-life initiative. According to a recent New York Times report, the city has begun deploying two emergency ambulances in response to 911 calls -- one to try to save the lives of those involved, and the other to harvest their vital organs should the rescue efforts fail or be deemed likely to fail.

Israel Faces Child-Abuse Claims

An international children’s rights charity has said it has evidence that Palestinian children held in Israeli custody have been subjected to sexual abuse in an effort to extract confessions from them. The Geneva-based Defence for Children International (DCI) has collected 100 sworn affadavits from Palestinian children who said they were mistreated by their Israeli captors.

Fourteen of the statements say they were sexually abused or threatened with sexual assault to pressure them into confessions. Al Jazeera’s correspondent in the West Bank, Nour Odeh, met one of the children, identified only as “N”, who said he suffered sexual abuse at the hands of his interrogators. Dismissive attitude

Bailout Protection Act’
U.S. Representative Mike Pence, an Indiana Republican, said he planned to introduce a “European Bailout Protection Act” to restrict the flow of International Monetary Fund loans to European countries. He said he was responding to reports that U.S. officials might bolster a European fund designed to deal with this year’s debt crisis, which has spread from Greece to Ireland.

Feds Warrantlessly Tracking Americans’ Credit Cards in Real Time

http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2010/12/realtime/

Federal law enforcement agencies have been tracking Americans in real-time using credit cards, loyalty cards and travel reservations without getting a court order, a new document released under a government sunshine request shows. The document, obtained by security researcher Christopher Soghoian, explains how so-called “Hotwatch” orders allow for real-time tracking of individuals in a criminal investigation via credit card companies, rental car agencies, calling cards, and even grocery store loyalty programs. The revelation sheds a little more light on the Justice Department’s increasing power and willingness to surveil Americans with little to no judicial or Congressional oversight.
