What we know from the facts are
the US engages in unlawful wars all based upon lies known to be lies as they were told. the US engages in predatory economic policies that steal trillions every year from the American public, while ignoring the obvious solutions of creating a national money supply rather than a national "debt supply." there is compelling evidence that the US has the technological capability to cause tsunamis and earthquakes.
Germany has pulled out of NATO operations due to disagreements over the mission in Libya. To add to that, Germany did the unthinkable: it voted in favor of a UN Security Council resolution calling the Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory illegal and demanding the immediate halt of all settlement activity. Whoa.
Then, Ms Merkel did something very strange: she ordered the shutdown of Germany’s nuclear reactors.
Ministers admitted yesterday that they have no idea how long the military operation against Colonel Gaddafi could take. Asked for an estimate, Armed Forces Minister Nick Harvey said: 'How long is a piece of string? We don't know how long this is going to go on.
'We don't know if this is going to result in a stalemate. We don't know if his capabilities are going to be degraded quickly. Ask me again in a week.'

CAIRO (March 22, 2011) – The Egyptian-International Coalition for Lifting the Siege and Rebuilding Gaza, an informal grouping of concerned Egyptian citizens and foreign nationals, has announced plans to deliver several tons of building supplies and raw materials to the neighboring Gaza Strip via Egypt’s Rafah Border Crossing on March 24, 2011.
The move comes following the successful outcome of the coalition’s earlier March 6 campaign, when it passed into the strip through the Rafah crossing with a single, symbolic 50kg bag of cement.
QUAKE UPDATE Police say 9,199 people have been confirmed dead and nearly 14,000 are missing after the March 11th earthquake and tsunami that hit northeastern Japan.
5,607 of the victims died in Miyagi Prefecture. More than 4,200 people are unaccounted for in the region.
2,773 people are confirmed dead and over 5,000 are missing in Iwate Prefecture.
In Fukushima Prefecture, 762 people died and nearly 4,500 are missing.
So if you're baffled by how Mr. "Change You Can Believe In" morphed into Mr. "More of the Same," you shouldn't really be surprised. George Bush left in disgrace and Barack Obama took his place, but he brought with him a group of foreign policy advisors whose basic world views were not that different from the people they were replacing. CNN senior international correspondent Nic Robertson blasted Fox News on Monday for its report that Libyan authorities used him and other journalists as "human shields" in order to prevent an attack on Muammar Gadhafi's compound in Tripoli the night before. Robertson said Fox News' "allegation is outrageous and it's absolutely hypocritical."
"You know, when you come to somewhere like Libya, you expect lies and deceit from the dictatorship here," Robertson said. "You don't expect it from the other journalists."
Although it was hailed as a technical triumph by the Government, the cost of sending a Tornado from RAF Marham to Libya - a 3,000-mile round trip lasting around eight hours - quickly became a hot topic of discussion in the defence community. The British and Japanese governments are making nuclear power more unsafe.
Japan changed nuclear inspection rules in 2009 to let nuclear plants run for up to two years without any inspection. It also wants to cut the length of time that inspections take. Meanwhile, David Cameron still plans to go ahead with a new generation of nuclear reactors in Britain to replace older plants that are due to be decommissioned. They will be less safe. The government is privatising safety inspections for the nuclear industry as well as responsibility for the safety of transporting nuclear waste.
At least eight Palestinians, including children, have been killed in mortar attacks and airstrikes in the Gaza Strip. The deaths occurred in two separate attacks on the eastern part of Gaza City on Tuesday, witnesses said. Two of the dead were aged 11 and 16, and four of them were from the al-Quds Brigade, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, a spokesman for the group said. Four people died when a shell slammed into a family home in Shejaiya, medical sources told AFP news agency.

BEIJING – China called Tuesday for an immediate cease-fire in Libya where the U.S. and European nations have launched punishing airstrikes to enforce a U.N. no-fly zone.
All parties must "immediately cease fire and resolve issues through peaceful means," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said at a regularly scheduled news conference, citing unconfirmed reports that the airstrikes had caused civilian deaths.

Germany has pulled out of NATO operations in the Mediterranean due to the disagreement over the forces' mission in Libya. The German defense ministry said on Tuesday that Berlin pulled out of any military operations in the Mediterranean following the Western military alliance's involvement in the Libya conflict, DPA reported. A ministry spokesman said two frigates and two other ships with a crew of 550 would be reverted to German command.
Some 60 to 70 German troops participating in NATO-operated AWACS surveillance operations in the Mediterranean would also be withdrawn, according to the ministry.
Following the disputes among NATO members over the military intervention in Libya, they met in Brussels to mend differences over what role the alliance should play in Libya.

France has proposed that a new political steering committee outside of NATO be responsible for overseeing military operations over Libya to enforce a UN-backed no-fly zone.
The announcement came after Turkey, a member of the NATO, warned on Tuesday that it could not agree to the military alliance taking over the enforcement of the no-fly zone if their mission went "outside the framework" of the UN decision.
Alain Juppe, the French foreign minister, said the new body would bring together foreign ministers from participating states, including Britain, France and the US, as well as the Arab League.

The forces retreated to the strategic town of Ajdabiya, south of Benghazi, after the airstrikes destroyed much of their armor and seriously degraded the North African country's air defense systems.
Part of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's residential compound was also destroyed on Sunday.
Plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) announced today that in samples taken 1,100 feet south of the plant on Monday, radioactive iodine exceeded legal limits for wastewater by 126.7 times, cesium-134 by 24.8 times, and cesium-137 by 16.5 times. Samples taken 16 kilometers (10 miles) south were up to 16 times above legal levels.
Radioactive elements in the ocean will not likely pose a threat to human health because they quickly become diluted, says Masaharu Hoshi, a specialist in environmental impact assessments at Hiroshima University’s Research Institute for Radiation Biology and Medicine. He says contamination of seawater was not a problem following the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Radiation 1,600 times higher than normal levels has been detected in an area about 20 kilometers from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, International Atomic Energy Agency officials said Monday.

The US Coast Guard (anything preceded by 'US' is presumed to be a liar) is claiming this is just "sediment" in the water. But sediment SINKS. That far away from the mouth of the Mississippi sediment is already settling deep into the gulf. And were it really sediment, we would presume it to be a regular phenomenon familiar to all and therefore not likely to call attention to itself.
It is critical for those in the U.S., especially on the West Coast, to adjust to the continuing increased radiation, potential radiation and the resulting food contamination from Japan's tragic nuclear disasters. The US Treasury Department said on Monday it would begin to sell-off toxic assets worth an estimated $142 billion, in an effort to close another chapter of the financial crisis.
"We will exit this investment at a gradual and orderly pace to maximize the recovery of taxpayer dollars and help protect the process of repair of the housing finance market," said Treasury official Mary Miller.
The department said it would offload up to $10 billion in mortgage-backed securities (MBS) -- assets which bundle together large numbers of often distressed mortgages -- each month.

The US Treasury may well want to sell off these toxic assets.
But who in their right mind would even want to bid on them, in light of the fact that, with so much foreclosure, bundling" and "robo-signing", who actually knows who is holder of these mortgages at this point?!?!

According to the Israeli army, there is an “upsurge in worldwide efforts to delegitimize Israel and question its right to exist.” Thus, the new unit will keep tabs on groups involved in boycotting Israel, divesting from it or imposing sanctions on it. There are many, and grave reasons for reasonable criticism of Israel to be heard. Let's start with the siege of Gaza, and the predilection for always blaming the Palestinians for everything which goes wrong.
Let's turn to the torture of Palestinian kids to get them to "confess" to crimes either they or people they know allegedly committed. Let's turn to the use of white phosphorous on innocent school children during "Operation Cast Lead"; let's turn to the gunning down of unarmed aid workers on the Mavi Marara last year, including one American citizen; and let's turn to the utter destruction of Palestinians' cropland by settlers living on illegal settlements.
Everything I have mentioned is true, and corroborated by extensive evidence and documentation. So the moral question for the Israeli government and people has to be this; when does telling the truth about Israel's actions become a crime in the eyes of the Israeli government?!? Because if this becomes institutionalized, which appears to be happening, Israel will simply be delegitimizing itself without any outside help.
And the second thing Israelis have to be concerned about is its government's promise that it will not track any internal political moments which might be critical of Israel.

NEW YORK – Two Justice Department memos describing the National Security Agency’s (NSA) illegal warrantless wiretapping program were made public late Friday as part of an American Civil Liberties Union Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

PIMCO, the world's biggest bond fund, who recently announced it was dumping their U.S. Treasury holdings, now says it is buying foreign debt in 'Rising Star' nations. The U.S. Army has been forced to apologise over what they have deemed as 'repugnant' photographs of grinning American soldiers standing over bloodied and partially-naked Afghan bodies they had allegedly killed.

Meanwhile, commanders in Afghanistan are bracing themselves for a public backlash and possible riots over the 'trophy' photographs, especially since it has been alleged that the Afghan civilians were unarmed and innocent.

The Obama government has launched cruise missile strikes and run special forces operations in Yemen and conducted a deadly helicopter raid in Somalia.
It has also acquired the use of seven military bases in Colombia to assist the decades-long counterinsurgency war in the country and to threaten neighboring Venezuela and Ecuador."
In the thinking of the men who perpetrated these atrocities, what are a couple of mutilated corpses compared to all the death and destruction Obama has visited upon innocent people all over the world under his watch, while he let the banks rob American citizens of their homes to cover the fraudulent derivative mortgage scheme losses?
