Restoration at nuke plant disrupted, radiation fears spread to Tokyo

Work to restore power and key cooling functions was disrupted again Wednesday at the crisis-hit Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant as smoke caused workers to evacuate, while fear of radioactive pollution spread to Tokyo with an alert not to give tap water to infants.

Webmaster's Commentary: According to a caller from Tokyo into today's radio show, Tokyo water has now been declared unsafe even for adults.

Phony SSL Certificates issued for Google, Yahoo, Skype, Others

A major issuer of secure socket layer (SSL) certificates acknowledged on Wednesday that it had issued 9 fraudulent SSL certificates to seven Web domains, including those for Google.com, Yahoo.com and Skype.com following a security compromise at an affiliate firm. The attack originated from an IP address in Iran, according to a statement from Comodo Inc.

Comodo, of Jersey City, New Jersey, said, in a statement on its Web page, that an attacker was able to obtain the user name and password of a Comodo Registration Authority (RA) based in Southern Europe and issue the fraudulent certificates. The company said the hack did not extend to its root keys or intermediate certificate authorities, but did constitute a serious security incident that warranted attention.

AIPAC Fundraises Off Of Jerusalem Bus Attack

This morning, a bomb struck a bus in downtown Jerusalem, killing one person and injuring dozens more. Jerusalem police called it a “terrorist attack,” the first in Jerusalem in seven years. President Obama condemned the attack “in the strongest possible terms.” Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayad have also condemned the attack.

Even before the street had been cleared, however, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee blasted an email out to its supporters in a crass attempt to raise money off the attack:

Is Libya being bombed by bloody U.S. Zio thugs because Gaddafi wants to introduce gold dinar?

The present World Economic Crisis has forced a number of governments to consider introduction of an interstate gold currency, writes a minor Russian oligarch Sterligov on his blog.

Since gold yuan coinage was announced by China, talks about the gold standard had been brought up in the Middle East. The main initiator of non-payment in dollars and euros is the Leader and Guide of the Revolution in Libya, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. He called on Arab and African world to adopt a single current - the gold dinar.

Exclusive: Fukushima babies, pregnant women nuclear fallout rescue underway

Babies and pregnant women are being rescued from the Fukushima Nuclear power plant fallout area despite Japanese government telling everyone within the 20-mile radius danger zone of the leaking plants to remain indoors where people are being radiated. Closings Loom as Sears Holdings Continues to Struggle

While the retail industry’s attention in recent weeks has been focused on Borders' Chapter 11 filing, there is another retail giant with a massive store portfolio that may be raising alarm bells in the near future.

For years now, Sears Holdings Corp. has been reporting declining sales at both its Sears and Kmart stores. Most recently, in the firm’s fiscal 2010, same-store sales fell 1.6 percent—dropping 3.6 percent at Sears and rising 0.7 percent Kmart. It was just the latest annual decline for the firm. Same-store sales fell 5.1 percent in 2009, 8 percent in 2008, 4.3 percent in 2007 and 3.7 percent in 2006. During that time span, Sears Holdings’ net sales dropped by nearly $10 billion, from $53.0 billion in 2006 to $43.3 billion last year...

Couple Owns Home After One Payment Due to Foreclosure Glitch

Japanese nuclear reactor workers evacuated again

Workers at the troubled Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan were evacuated Wednesday as smoke spewed into their facilities for the second day in a row. According to CNN, officials with the Tokyo Electric Power Company said that “something is on fire” but didn’t say what.

U.S. rescue team shoot six Libyan civilians rushing to greet downed American fighter crew

Six Libyan villagers are recovering in hospital after being shot by American soldiers coming in to rescue the U.S. pilots whose plane crash-landed in a field.

The helicopter strafed the ground as it landed in a field outside Benghazi beside the downed U.S. Air Force F-15E Eagle which ran into trouble during bombing raid last night.

And a handful of locals who had come to greet the pilot were hit - among them a young boy who may have to have a leg amputated because of injuries caused by a bullet wound.

Israel passes law against mourning its existence

Israel's parliament passed a measure on Tuesday enabling the denial of state funding to institutions that question the country's existence as a Jewish state, in a move criticized as targeting an Arab minority.

The so-called Nakba Law, using the Arabic word for "catastrophe" which is how many Palestinians regard the founding of Israel, passed by a vote of 37 to 25 after an angry debate among right and left-wing lawmakers.

Civil rights groups have denounced the measure as an effort to restrict freedom of expression to Arabs, who make up about a fifth of Israel's predominantly Jewish population.

Webmaster's Commentary: Memo to the Knesset: the passage of this law will not wipe out the memory of Palestinians as to what happened to them when Israel became a nation.

And in terms of Israelis characterizing their country as a "democracy", that is truly amazing.

One might have hoped that those Holocaust survivors who founded Israel would be the poster children for moderate, tolerant behavior toward those who were "different" in any way, and eschew discrimination of any kind as immoral.

Unfortunately, however, Israel has devolved into a wretchedly apartheid theocracy, with nuclear weapons; In the 21st century, it is almost as though Israelis have collectively swallowed a deadly cocktail of religion, hubris, and hatred and contempt for all others, and are acting accordingly.

This does not bode well at all for peace in the Middle East, or peace in the world.

Extremely high radiation found in soil

Japanese authorities have detected a concentration of a radioactive substance 1,600 times higher than normal in soil at a village, 40 kilometers away from the troubled nuclear power plant in Fukushima Prefecture.

Fukushima Engineer Says He Covered Up Flaw at Shut Reactor No. 4

One of the reactors in the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant may have been relying on flawed steel to hold the radiation in its core, according to an engineer who helped build its containment vessel four decades ago.

Mitsuhiko Tanaka says he helped conceal a manufacturing defect in the $250 million steel vessel installed at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi No. 4 reactor while working for a unit of Hitachi Ltd. in 1974. The reactor, which Tanaka has called a “time bomb,” was shut for maintenance when the March 11 earthquake triggered a 7-meter (23-foot) tsunami that disabled cooling systems at the plant, leading to explosions and radiation leaks.

Saleh Threatens ‘Civil War’ if He Is Ousted

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh reiterated on Tuesday that he will not allow himself to be forced from office, insisting that the military defectors were plotting a “coup” against him and that he will only leave office through “constitutional means.”

Saleh likewise warned that if he is forced from office it will surely lead to civil war, though the threat is tempered by high violence which has many believing that Yemen is on a course for such a conflict (or a breakup) if he remains in power.

Webmaster's Commentary: Memo to Yemenite President Selah: now might be a good time to unpark the millions you have made on the backs of your citizens, find a nice anonymous Swiss bank account, and have inquiries made about a change of residence, preferably out of the country.

Your time as the president of Yemen may well be short-lived.

Japan Finds More Vegetables, Water Affected By Radiation

Japanese authorities discovered more leafy vegetables and water contaminated by radiation on Wednesday, nearly two weeks after a quake-hit nuclear plant went on alert.

Prime Minister Naoto Kan warned consumers across the country against eating a wide range of leafy vegetables harvested in Fukushima Prefecture, including broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and spinach. It is the first time that Kan has restricted consumption of some farm products in the wake of the nuclear crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi power station, which has been crippled by the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunami.

Radioactive Iodine In Tokyo Water Found Too High For Infants

Local authorities in Tokyo said Wednesday that iodine exceeding permissible levels for infants has been detected in tap water in northern Tokyo, adding to concerns over contamination from the stricken Fukushima Daiichi plant.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government said that a sample of water from Katsushika ward had found radioactive iodine levels of 210 becquerels per kilogram, about double the permissible level for infants, although still considered safe for adults. While not certain, officials said they suspect that the airborne iodine had drifted over rivers that feed Tokyo's water system and had come down in recent rainfall.

Seawater radioactivity high / Sample shows large iodine concentrations near nuclear plant

Tokyo Electric Power Co. said Tuesday seawater near an outlet at the quake-hit Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant had a concentration of radioactive iodine-131 that was 127 times higher than can be safely ingested by a person continuously for one year, according to government standards. In a phenomenon called biological concentration, radioactive materials in seawater will become more concentrated in fish and marine plants.

Chávez’s purchase of $15 billion in weapons causes concern in Latin America

With the acquisition of hundreds of tanks, helicopters and bulletproof vehicles as well as submarines and missile networks, Venezuela is arming itself at a speed unprecedented in the history of the South American country.

Experts consulted by El Nuevo Herald have said that Hugo Chávez’s has created unrest in the region with purchases to expand its military that total more than $15 billion.

he list includes 92 mid-size T-72B1V tanks, about 240 bulletproof infantry vehicles (BMP-3 and 8x8 BTR-80), nine submarines, nearly 50 vessels of different sizes, dozens of Sukhoi Su-30MK2 fighting airplanes, an undetermined number of Chinese J-10 fighter airplanes, and close to a hundred Russian helicopters, a good part of which were designed for combat operations.

Webmaster's Commentary: Cesar Chavez is many things, but he is nobody's fool.

He understands full well that elements in the US government would very much like to orchestrate a "regime change" in Venezuela, particularly because of its vast oil reserves.

As reported on 16 January, 2011, at:

In a 6-2 decision, the Court majority voted to reject substantial evidence that current law was fully intended to protect an American's right to sue a pharmaceutical corporation for injuries that could have been prevented if the company had elected to make a safer vaccine.

The court decision leaves parents with no way to hold vaccine makers accountable and no feasible way to get compensation for the injuries suffered by their children; furthermore, the decision removes all financial incentive for multi-national drug companies to make vaccines as safe as they can be.

Netanyahu: Israel will continue to operate against terrorists in Gaza

Speaking after a day of heavy tension along the Gaza border, in which the Israel Air Force retaliated for mortar and rocket fire by attacking launching squads inside the coastal territory, Netanyahu said: "It could take the form of exchanges of fire, it could continue for a particular length of time, but we are very determined to reach every terror element and to prevent them from having the capability of harming our citizens."

Webmaster's Commentary: Translation: with all the international attention on melting Japanese nuclear reactors and the launching of yet another illegal and immoral war, this time against Libya, Netanyahu & Company feel fully confident that they can conduct another military assault on Gaza (Cast Lead 2), and to slaughter every man, woman, and child left standing.

Remember: it cannot actually be proven as to which elements in Gaza fired those rockets.

But these attacks, coupled with other convenient distractions, come at marvelous time for Netanyahu's government to attempt to pursue Israel's "Final Solution" for Palestinian Gazans.

NCAA, Homeland Security partner in planning a safe Final Four

Fans attending this year’s March Madness games will be greeted by a video of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and NCAA President Mark Emmert encouraging them to “say something” if they see suspicious activities.

The video, which will also appear at most other winter championship events, is part of a national campaign sponsored by Homeland Security to raise citizen awareness in high-profile environments such as major events and public transit.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to all basketball aficionados this year: as hard as this is going to be, just please don't attend the games in Houston, and don't even watch them on television.

Empty stadiums and unwatched games translate into lost revenues. And if this is the only way to get the message across to the government that thinking Americans have had enough with government security agencies gone hog-wild, so be it.

Homeland Security Napolitano and her good bud, TSA's GropeNazi-in-Chief Pistole, have done a magnificent job of smacking down the Constitution and Bill of Rights to the point where one wonders if they are not secret admirers of the old Soviet Union-style security, complete with gulags (like Gitmo) and military tribunals, where the standards for evidence are far less stringent than they are for civilian criminal trials.

Right now, the primary menace to ordinary working citizens is the government itself. None of the steps allegedly taken to provide "security" have made any of us more secure.

Cost of military campaign in Libya could wipe out GOP's spending cuts

U.S. military operations in Libya could wipe out a significant chunk of the budget cuts won by congressional Republicans in recent weeks, defense analysts say.

GOP leaders have trumpeted enacted spending reductions that amount to more than $285 million per day since the beginning of March.

But defense analysts say the Pentagon could be burning through more than $100 million per day in Libya, putting those budget savings at risk.

Webmaster's Commentary:

....ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS A DAY?!?; While homeless Veterans sleep in our streets, peoples' jobs keep getting outsourced, and our infrastructure is collapsing around us?!?

"Cui bono" - who benefits from this? The large oil companies, at the end of the day, cronies of the people who control this country; that's who. This is another flagrant example of a publicly funded war ultimately for private profits.

And to that absurd statement by Ben Rhodes that “It's important to have a model where the international community bears a cost … of these actions going forward, because the United States alone can't bear the burden of these costs over time,” ; Ben, don't hold your breath for foreign financial support of yet another illegal and immoral war. The US may literally be on its own this time. Germany has already pulled out of the coalition, probably with a number more to come when the leadership of those countries originally enthusiastic about such a war realize that the endgame may well not be close at hand.

Beware of the Zionist Presidential Candidates

I have said for years that the Socialist Obama is not the guy that will take down the United States. It is the Fascist Republican after him, that you need to worry about. America is not going to go down the collectivist road to Socialism or Communism. We fought too long against it in the Cold War. America will however go down the collectivist road of Fascism. Fascism is simply the merger of the power of the state with the power of the Corporation. Fascism could easily be called Corporatism. Our Corporatocracy creates policies to support corporate interests like the Wall St banksters, the oil cartel, the media monopolies and the Military Industrial Complex.

Airstrikes force Gadhafi to fall back from key western city; NATO ships patrol Libyan coast

International airstrikes forced Moammar Gadhafi’s tanks to roll back from the western city of Misrata on Wednesday, a local doctor said, giving respite to civilians who have endured more than a week of attacks and a punishing blockade. In the east, rebels tried to organize politically and militarily as civilians fled another strategic city.

As the international air campaign appeared to weaken Gadhafi’s forces even in the western region that has been his stronghold, Western diplomats neared an agreement to let NATO assume responsibility for the no-fly zone and its warships began patrolling off the Mediterranean coast. Both they and rebels, who took tentative steps toward forming a government in the east on Wednesday, appeared to be preparing for a battle that could last some time.

Webmaster's Commentary:

No country on earth can begin to justify the killing of civilians with the lame excuse that you are "killing them in order to save them."

This has absolutely nothing to do with "humanitarian response" to uprisings here, and everything to do with seizing and controlling Libyan oil.

From the American military perspective, this war cannot go on for a long period of time, because it has neither the troop strength nor the material resources to fight a protracted war, in light of the fact that American manufacturing has been pretty well off-shored.

Gaddafi fully understands this, so is doing his utmost to make sure that this military confrontation is as drawn out as possible;, although, with so much of Libyan military infrastructure damaged, it is questionable as to how long his loyalists will be able to withstand this assault.

The coalition of the conflicted goes to war in Libya

Creating the no-fly zone is done. Wiping out the remnants of Libya’s ragged air force is done. Pulverizing the armoured spearhead pointed at Benghazi is done. And making a smoking hole out of Moammar Gadhafi’s command-and-control headquarters in Tripoli is also done.

Libya has become a “target-poor” environment, much like Afghanistan in the first hectic days of air strikes in 2001. U.S., British, and French warplanes are already returning to bases with their bombs still strapped to their wings. Canada’s CF-18s brought their bomb load back undropped Thursday and have yet to fire.

A narrow reading of UN Security Council Resolution 1973 would suggest the war’s limited objectives have been all but reached. It’s over. But the unwritten and unspoken target may be Colonel Gadhafi himself.

We can then smash the thick, cold ugly, rusty chains that have incarcerated our minds and bodies for all our lives like the overpowering stench of a rotting corpse in our claustrophobic prison cell.

Some 60 to 70 German troops participating in NATO-operated AWACS surveillance operations in the Mediterranean would also be withdrawn, according to the ministry.

Vice Premier Silvan Shalom on Wednesday said the situation in Gaza was reminiscent of the run-up Operation Cast Lead in 2009. Three Grad rockets, several Kassam rockets and dozens of mortar shells have been fired into Israeli territory in recent days.

"We may have to consider a return to that operation," Shalom told Israel Radio. "I say this despite the fact that I know such a thing would, of course, bring the region to a far more combustible situation."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Of course, nobody really knows who is firing these rockets just when Israel needs an excuse to go back into Gaza, but like the murdered family at Itamar (killed by an Asian worker they cheated out of his pay), these things by default are blamed on the Palestinians for political reasons.

Given Israel's long history of the false-flag attack as a tool of statecraft, the most likely situation is that Israel's agents-provocateurs are firing these mortars and rockets in order to frame the Palestinians, just as Israeli agents in Egypt bombed British and American assets and framed the Egyptians, or how Israel attacked and tried to sink the USS Liberty, again in order to frame Egypt. It is just how Israel does these things.

Survivors in Libya equate US attack with Rommel!

Makfoud Turki, an 81-year old former Libyan football star, was taking the long view over an overnight bombing raid on the naval docks in Tripoli harbour. "I remember Rommel's army, the Afrika Korps, came and then there was allied bombing before the British came, many people were killed," he said. "Then there was the bombing in 1986 and now. Young people panic when they see this but I understand there is nothing we can do. This happens in Libya."

As the World Looks Elsewhere, Israel Attacks Gaza

Last night Israel launched airstrikes on six targets in Gaza, wounding at least 19 people, including seven children and two women. According to Washington Report Gaza correspondent Mohammed Omer, the Israeli army was calling families in Khan Younis telling them to flee their homes and tanks and bulldozers were gathering around Zaytoun, east of Gaza City.

Is Israel preparing ???Operation Cast Lead Two??? while the world???s attention is diverted elsewhere? Will it yet again use American weapons for illegal acts of aggression, in violation of the Arms Export Control Act? Will more innocent civilians be killed and wounded?

Israel; the Ace of Spades of Evil.

Israel is planning to kill a whole lot of Palestinians real soon. That’s what it means when they start launching bottle rockets into stolen lands and causing serious damage, like some Israeli broke a nail. They know the hour is getting late but they don’t quite grasp what’s coming. They are about to become pariahs the world over. Everything they’ve been up to is going to be exposed. They are the primary target of The Apocalypse.

Radiation Level At Fukushima Reactor No. 2 At Its Highest Level Recorded So Far, Neutron Beam Observed 13 Times

Per the Japan Nuclear Agency: the Radiation level at Fukushima reactor No. 2 at its highest level recorded so far. From Reuters: "Radiation at the crippled Fukushima No.2 nuclear reactor was recorded at the highest level since the start of the crisis, Japan's nuclear safety agency said on Wednesday. An agency spokesman said 500 millisieverts per hour of radiation was measured at the No.2 unit on Wednesday. Engineers have been trying to fix the plant's cooling system after restoring lighting on Tuesday." And some more truthy news from Kyodo:

Electric Power Co. said Wednesday it has observed a neutron beam, a kind of radioactive ray, 13 times on the premises of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant after it was crippled by the massive March 11 quake-tsunami disaster.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The word "beam" may be a mistranslation or simply a poor choice of words, but what the article is saying is that neutrons are being detected emitting from the ruined reactors at Fukushima. This means fission reactions are taking place inside the reactor cores and/or the spent fuel rods.

The degree of enrichment of the uranium is not high enough to cause an explosion, and even if the plutonium content of the MOX fuel and spent rods were to separate out in the slag, absent a compression device it too cannot explode. However, a runaway fission reaction is the worst-case scenario leading to a real melt down and "China Syndrome." Of course the fissioning slag from the Fukushima reactors will not dig through the Earth, but will only get as far as the water table, at which point there will be a steam explosion (may have already happened at Reactor 3) blasting the radioactive debris up into the atmosphere. Even without a steam explosion, there will be no way to keep the toxic products of a fission melt down from leaching into the Pacific Ocean.

War Powers Resolution of 1973

The War Powers Resolution of 1973 (50 U.S.C. 1541–1548) was a United States Congress joint resolution providing that the President can send U.S. armed forces into action abroad only by authorization of Congress or if the United States is already under attack or serious threat. The War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30 day withdrawal period, without an authorization of the use of military force or a declaration of war. The resolution was passed by two-thirds of Congress, overriding a presidential veto.

Russian Duma Leader Wants Obama Stripped of Nobel Peace Prize

The controversial leader of the Russian Liberal Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, said in a statement on Monday that he will ask the Nobel Committee to strip President Barack Obama of the Nobel Peace Prize. Zhirinovsky said in the letter that the prize, awarded in 2009 for Obama’s historic presidential victory and his work on nuclear non proliferation, was now hypocritical in light of recent missile strikes in Libya.

Fed Stress Test a Farce

Improved financial health allows some banks to “increase or restart dividend payments, buy back shares, or repay government capital.” The news was met by some mainstream media outlets with jubilation, even though the Fed did not disclose which banks did well and which banks did not...

Bottom Line, Libya Will Remain a Transnational Oil Fiefdom

BP and the government of Libya have a lucrative deal searching for offshore oil. “BP signed a deal worth at least $900 million in 2007 to explore in Libya. It said it would monitor the situation on a daily basis and could not confirm when work would start again, but stressed that offshore operations in the region were still open and the closure would not impact oil production,” the Associated Press reported as hostilities broke out between the government and protesters.

GEORGE GALLOWAY - VIEWS ON LIBYA GADDAFI AND OIL

“BP has 15 billion pounds worth of investments in Libya,” Galloway instructed the corporate media teleprompter reader, “so don’t pretend it is not a big deal.”

The BP angle is of course not mentioned when the Pentagon script readers here in the States go on ad nauseam about humanitarianism and disinfecting Libya of Gaddafi the thug.

BP CEO Bob Dudley said “we remain committed to doing business” in Libya regardless of what Gaddafi was doing to protesters.

Nobel Committee asked to strip Obama of Peace Prize

The Bolivian President and a Russian political leader have launched a campaign to revoke Obama's honour after the US attacked Libya.
Liberal Democratic Party of Russia leader and Vice-Chairman of the State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky released a statement today calling for the Nobel Prize Committee to take back the honour bestowed on US President Barack Obama in 2009.
Zhirinovsky said the attacks were "another outrageous act of aggression by NATO forces and, in particular, the United States," and that the attacks demonstrated a "colonial policy" with "one goal: to establish control over Libyan oil and the Libyan regime." He said the prize was now hypocritical as a result.

US in no mood to tender apology to Pakistan over 41 civilian drone attack casualties

The United States is showing a cold response to Pakistan's efforts in seeking its apology over last week's drone attack that targeted a tribal peace congregation in North Waziristan Agency, in which at least 41 innocent people were killed.

Neither has US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter honoured his pledge to leave for Washington to deliver Islamabad's note of protest, nor does the US State Department seem prepared to tender an apology over the drone strike, The Nation quoted well-placed sources, as saying.

A Foolish and Unconstitutional War

“The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”

So said constitutional scholar and Senator Barack Obama in December 2007 — the same man who, this weekend, ordered U.S. air and missile strikes on Libya without any authorization from Congress. Obama did win the support of Gabon in the Security Council, but failed with Germany. With a phone call to acquitted rapist Jacob Zuma, he got South Africa to sign on, but not Brazil, Russia, India or China. All four abstained. This is not the world’s war. This is Obama’s war.

What They're Covering Up at Fukushima

After reading his account, you will wonder, why do they keep on sprinkling water on the reactors, rather than accept the sarcophagus solution [ie., entombing the reactors in concrete. Editors.] I think there are a couple of answers. One, those reactors were expensive, and they just can't bear the idea of that huge a financial loss. But more importantly, accepting the sarcophagus solution means admitting that they were wrong, and that they couldn't fix the things. On the one hand that's too much guilt for a human being to bear. On the other, it means the defeat of the nuclear energy idea, an idea they hold to with almost religious devotion. And it means not just the loss of those six (or ten) reactors, it means shutting down all the others as well, a financial catastrophe.

"There is No limited Intervention" No Health Care, but You Can Get War

Rep. Kucinich is willing to speak more truth about the US government's agenda in the Middle East and North Africa. However, is not willing to speak the entire truth. This government is not attacking Libya for humanitarian purposes but because Libya has 5% of the worlds oil reserves and this government and European governments have decided it is time for regime change. There is also a battle going on between the private central bankers and the Islamic banks in northern African countries. Islamic banks do not charge interest. The Rothschilds do not like this.

Fukushima Smoking Gun Emerges: Founding Engineer Says Reactor 4 Has Always Been A "Time Bomb", Exposes Criminal Cover Up

"One of the reactors in the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant may have been relying on flawed steel to hold the radiation in its core, according to an engineer who helped build its containment vessel four decades ago. Mitsuhiko Tanaka says he helped conceal a manufacturing defect in the $250 million steel vessel installed at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi No. 4 reactor while working for a unit of Hitachi Ltd. in 1974. The reactor, which Tanaka has called a “time bomb,” was shut for maintenance when the March 11 earthquake triggered a 7-meter (23-foot) tsunami that disabled cooling systems at the plant, leading to explosions and radiation leaks....“

Chernobyl Cleanup Survivor's Message for Japan: 'Run Away as Quickly as Possible'

Natalia Manzurova, one of the few survivors among those directly involved in the long cleanup of Chernobyl, was a 35-year-old engineer at a nuclear plant in Ozersk, Russia, in April 1986 when she and 13 other scientists were told to report to the wrecked, burning plant in the northern Ukraine.

US spent-fuel storage sites are packed

The nuclear crisis in Japan has laid bare an ever-growing problem for the United States - the enormous amounts of still-hot radioactive waste accumulating at commercial nuclear reactors in more than 30 states.
The U.S. has 71,862 tons of the waste, according to state-by-state numbers obtained by The Associated Press. But the nation has no place to permanently store the material, which stays dangerous for tens of thousands of years.
Plans to store nuclear waste at Nevada's Yucca Mountain have been abandoned, but even if a facility had been built there, America already has more waste than it could have handled.

"NO FLY ZONE OVER PALESTINE" Human Chain by Ken O'Keefe

I have an idea that needs about 300 or more people in Gaza to make it happen. I propose Palestinians and internationals lie down in a massive field or the beach and form a human chain that spells out “NO FLY ZONE OVER PALESTINE”. Then we take a picture of this from above and use that picture to demand an end to Israeli Air Force terrorism. The stark hypocrisy of the West pretending to care about Libyans with there oil grubbing NO FLY ZONE OVER LIBYA while doing absolutely nothing to stop Israeli mass murder of Palestinians is beyond unacceptable.

"Operation Odyssey Dawn" breaking for Washington

The French strikes against Libya are not a French operation, but a subcontracting component of Odyssey Dawn Operation under the authority of U.S. AfriCom. Their objective is not to rescue Libyan civilians, but to serve as a pretext to pave the way for the landing of U.S. forces on the Black continent, notes Thierry Meyssan.
