Important Account Notice Re: Metals Trading
We wanted to make you aware of some upcoming changes to FOREX.com’s product offering. As a result of the Dodd-Frank Act enacted by US Congress, a new regulation prohibiting US residents from trading over the counter precious metals, including gold and silver, will go into effect on Friday, July 15, 2011.
In conjunction with this new regulation, FOREX.com must discontinue metals trading for US residents on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the close of trading at 5pm ET. As a result, all open metals positions must be closed by July 15, 2011 at 5pm ET.
If I read this correctly, this only affects precious metals contracts on margin/leverage for future delivery (i.e. "Paper" gold/silver) but not coin dealers whose transactions are cash and carry.
I suspect this will drive down the immediate price for gold and silver in order to keep people in the equities market and Federal Reserve Note.
As difficult as it may be to fathom, the current lousy economy may not be the worst case scenario. All I have to do is look around and be observant to see that there is a strong likelihood that another, more significant economic meltdown is imminent.

”My friends, you have not yet recognized that we are at war within our country. We are living on capital, on the fat accumulated by past generations of inventors, builders and social reformers. As has become typical at GOP cattle calls, Ron Paul captured the presidential straw poll at the Republican Leadership Conference here, easily besting his nearest competitor, Jon Huntsman.
... And, just as they have at recent CPACs, Paul's backers in the crowd here let out loud cheers when the results were announced from the stage while the regular Republicans in the audience booed the Libertarian-leaning Texas congressman's success.
Can you see the bias here? The implication is that Pau''s backers are not "regular Republicans", with the obvoous message that this victory is irrelevant to the process of making sure a "regular Republican" is given the GOP nomination.
Ron Paul overwhelmingly won the 2011 RLC Presidential Straw Poll, gaining 612 (39.69%) of a total of 1542 votes!
Jon Huntsman came in second with 382 votes (24.77%), Michele Bachmann was third with 191 votes (12.39%), while last year’s winner Mitt Romney slipped to fifth with only 74 votes (4.80%).

The entire world will soon depend on renewable energy so governments ought to start subsidizing these industries immediately. So said the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in a report released Tuesday. The study’s conclusion was such a blockbuster that the panel issued a press release last month previewing the finding. “Close to 80 percent of the world’s energy supply could be met by renewables by mid-century if backed by the right enabling public policies a new report shows,” it proclaimed.

Last year nine activists were slaughtered and over fifty other innocent individuals were injured by an Israeli attack on a ship filled with medical supplies and other much-needed necessities for the oppressed people of Gaza. While this is blatantly a violation of international law and basic human decency, the corrupt politicians of the world actually defended these actions.
n a release posted on PasteBin today, new information has come to light about a particular member of the shadowy group known as LulzSecurity which I have been covering in detail as of late.
After the first “just for kicks” hack of the Senate.gov website, I hypothesized that the group could be a government red team. This was reinforced by their DDoS attack on the CIA as well as their release of over 62,000 e-mails and passwords of random everyday people.
This combined with the information contained in the PasteBin, if it is indeed true, make for a pretty damning case. Unfortunately there is not enough proof provided in the PasteBin for me to conclusively say that this is a government red team or that this individual with the handle Nakomis is indeed military counter-intelligence.
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama drove the cart and House Speaker John Boehner celebrated a short putt during their much anticipated golf outing Saturday at a military base outside the nation's capital.
Vice President Joe Biden earned the commander in chief's approval when he sank a 15-to-20 foot putt on the first hole, a par five, at Joint Base Andrews.
"Did you all catch that?" Obama shouted to reporters gathered near the green.
When it comes to measuring the combination of unemployment and inflation, it doesn’t get much more miserable than this. In fact, misery, as measured in the unofficial Misery Index that simply totals the unemployment and inflation rates, is at a 28-year high, reflective of how weak the economic recovery has been and how far there is to go.
President Obama is now exploring avenues for a faster withdrawal from Afghanistan. At least 15 NATO fuel tankers have been torched in the latest wave of attacks by militants in conflict-riddled Afghanistan. Militants in Afghanistan targeted convoys carrying supplies to NATO troops, killing nine Afghan security guards and torching 15 fuel tankers on Saturday.
Two of the attacks targeted private guards escorting supply trucks to a base for Polish troops in the eastern Ghazni province. A third attack happened along the border between Herat and Farah provinces in the west. Afghan militants say their assaults are in retaliation for non-UN-sanctioned US strikes on Afghanistan's tribal regions.

A new system aimed at decontaminating highly radioactive water at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant was halted only 5 hours after a full-fledged operation started on Friday night.
The plant operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company says the suspension may affect the entire cleanup plan.
The new system began operating at around 8PM on Friday to clean the huge amount of radioactive water that had accumulated in the plant and to recycle it to cool the reactors.
However, the operation was manually stopped shortly before 1 AM on Saturday, as the radiation level on the surface of a US-made absorption device reached 4 millisieverts per hour, the level at which it needs to be replaced.
Obviously, there is a lot more radiation down there than expected (or we have been told).l Equally obviously, the equipment supplied by the American company was designed to deal with the radiation levels announced in the media, rather than with the reality of the situation on the ground.
So how much time and money has been wasted building a system which a priori was not going to b able to deal with the situation? Was this entire water cleaner merely a public relations exercises, a "Hey, at least we are doing something " dance in the dark?
A system to clean massive amounts of contaminated water at the site of Japan's nuclear disaster was shut down Saturday, just hours after it began full operations, because a component filled with radioactivity much more quickly than expected.
In the last few decades, the population of our national prisons has nearly tripled. This phenomenon can be attributed to many factors ranging from the increasing economic insecurity to the War on Drugs. Statistics tell us that 1 in 18 American men are now incarcerated or being monitored.
Although this number could be reasonably justified as a reflection of our social morality breakdown; America still leads the world in per capita imprisonment, and the privatization of the our corrections system calls into question the motives behind tougher sentencing and the ever-increasing American police state...
In the last year thousands of alleged copyright infringers have fallen prey to the dubious litigation practices of a handful of lawyers. Virtually every article about the flooding mentions that the Fort Calhoun plant was shut down on April 9. On May 27, the Omaha World-Herald reported, "The Omaha Public Power District said its nuclear plant at Fort Calhoun, which is shut down for maintenance, is safe from flooding." The implication is that being shut down makes a plant safe. But as the ongoing crisis in Fukushima demonstrates, nuclear fuel remains hot long after a reactor is shut down. When Fort Calhoun is shut down for maintenance and refueling, only one-third of the fuel in the reactor core is removed. Besides the hot fuel remaining in the core, there is even more fuel stored in the spent-fuel pool, which is not shut down.

Moody’s rating service is considering lowering the credit ratings of First Hawaiian Bank, the state’s largest financial institution, due to reverberations of the Greek debt crisis.
FHB and its sister bank, Bancwest, are owned by Bancwest Corporation. It, in turn, is a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, one of three large French banks most heavily impacted by the crisis in Greece.
Although FHB has strong ratings, Moody’s is reviewing those credit ratings because of concerns that losses on Greek investments could would make it more difficult for PNP Paribas to backstop its subsidiaries.
Three hundred miles southwest of Fukushima, at a nuclear reactor perched on the slopes of this rustic peninsula, engineers are engaged in another precarious struggle.
The Monju prototype fast-breeder reactor — a long-troubled national project — has been in a precarious state of shutdown since a 3.3-ton device crashed into the reactor’s inner vessel, cutting off access to the plutonium and uranium fuel rods at its core.
Engineers have tried repeatedly since the accident last August to recover the device, which appears to have gotten stuck. They will make another attempt as early as next week.
As Wall Street hangs on the question “Will Greece default?,” the author heads for riot-stricken Athens, and for the mysterious Vatopaidi monastery, which brought down the last government, laying bare the country’s economic insanity. But beyond a $1.2 trillion debt (roughly a quarter-million dollars for each working adult), there is a more frightening deficit. After systematically looting their own treasury, in a breathtaking binge of tax evasion, bribery, and creative accounting spurred on by Goldman Sachs, Greeks are sure of one thing: they can’t trust their fellow Greeks.

Britain will see its biggest wave of industrial action since the 1926 general strike in the wake of the Government's pension reforms, the leader of the largest public sector union has warned.
Unions have branded plans for the retirement age of public sector workers to be increased to 66 in line with everyone else as 'plain barking mad'.
They have also threatened to walk away from the negotiating table as they were warned it would be a 'colossal mistake' to reject the deal.

Destiny Mathis wrote to President Obama after she lost her job last year because of complications with her pregnancy. She’d been the top of her college class and had years of work under her belt as a surgical technologist, but after months of unemployment she was afraid that she and her three children were about to become victims of the economy.
Now she’s selling her handwritten letter from the President on an auction website in the hopes that the money she earns from the sale will help her keep her home. The Mathis family is weeks away from eviction, a future that Destiny foresaw in her letter to the president.
Discussing the economic situation with his Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.

T.GEITHNER: " This is good news, Mr President. If you can write 50 letters a week, then we can have the mortgage situation under control".
House demolitions usually are carried out without warning, often at night, and the occupants are given little or no time to leave their homes. Often the only warning they get is the rumbling of the Israeli army’s Caterpillar bulldozers. They barely have time to flee as the bulldozers tear down the walls of their homes. Sometimes they are buried alive under the rubble.
An Israeli newspaper reported that an Israeli army D9 dozer operator said, and I quote:
Weiss had the following to say on the matter: “I believe all people act out of self-interest. And Jews who define themselves at some level as Jews -- like myself for instance -- are concerned with a Jewish self-interest. Which in my case is: an end to Zionism. A theory of political life based on altruism or concern for victims purely is doomed to fail.”
Openly and bluntly, Weiss confirmed what many of us have been saying for a very long time: it is not solely ‘altruism’ or concern for Palestinians victims that motivates some of the most prominent Jewish campaigners and organisations, but it is also, as Weiss freely admits, ‘Jewish self-interest.’
I do not find this as shocking as Gilad Atzmon does, and while I respect altruism and genuine concern for Palestine, I would be perfectly fine if the modern state of Palestine comes into existence because Israel sees it in their self interest to allow it to happen.
A report broadcasted on Al-Manar TV station Friday, revealed that a platoon of Israeli soldiers set up the ambush inside the Lebanese territories, 250 meters away from the borders, in the liberated Saddana hill in Shebaa.
“Clashes took place between the dogs accompanying the shepherd’s flock of sheep and the Israeli soldiers, where one of the dogs bit an Israeli soldier after he hit it with a rifle that deeply injured the dog’s head”, Al-Manar reporter Ali Shoaib stated.

A Tucson mayoral candidate from a fringe political party has seized dozens of foreclosed homes in metro Phoenix, changing the locks, kicking out real-estate agents and posting "Do Not Trespass" signs.
Marshall Home, who claims many foreclosures are illegal, has filed documents in the past two weeks with the Maricopa County Recorder's Office showing he has supposedly taken ownership of at least 21 homes belonging to government-owned mortgage giant Fannie Mae. But none of the documents shows any money has changed hands, and Fannie Mae says it has not sold the houses.
This is really no surprise, but the same Senate Judiciary Committee that unanimously approved the PROTECT IP Act, despite worries from internet experts and major media about how it would break the internet, has now also unanimously approved the anti-internet streaming bill that makes it a felony to stream certain videos online -- potentially putting people in jail for embedding YouTube videos or just putting up YouTube lip synching videos...
South Korean troops have fired at a passenger airliner flying from China with 119 people on board after mistaking it for a North Korean aircraft, South Korean military and aviation officials say.
Soldiers manning a guard post on Gyodong island, off the western coast of South Korea, fired their K-2 rifles towards the jet, which was descending as it approached Seoul's Incheon International Airport, the officials said on Saturday.
"The firing continued about 10 minutes but the plane was too far off the rifle's range and it did not receive any damage," the South's Yonhap news agency quoted a Marine Corps official as saying.

This was being discussed as part of a five-year campaign plan, he said, and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.

Babeu: Obama has failed to protect border Posted: May 26, 2011 President Obama led us to believe he would end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We're no closer to leaving than when he made these false promises. He bombs Libya for humanitarian reasons and yet ignores the outcry of neighboring Mexico in their war against the drug cartels, which have claimed over 35,000 lives and nearly toppled their government. Mexico is America's second largest trading partner and we share nearly 2,000 miles of porous border, which presents a far graver national security threat than anything we face in the middle east. Mexico is not our enemy. The cartels are the enemy of Mexico and America. They have brought their violence here to America. Local Sheriffs can't fight them alone.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - (AFP) - Officials in the George W. Bush administration may have tried to use the CIA to dig up information on an Iraq war critic in order to discredit him, the New York Times reported Thursday.
Glenn Carle, who served as a top counterterrorism official in the Central Intelligence Agency, told the Times that officials twice sought to investigate Juan Cole, a professor and widely read blogger.
Cole, a Middle East expert and history professor at the University of Michigan, was a strident critic of the Bush administration and the Iraq war, which he wrote about extensively on his "Informed Comment" blog...

We might all remember the Clinton Era mantra about a “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy” targeting the first couple in the 1990?s. Of course Hitlary was correct. There likely was a conspiracy to take down these haters of Freedom, and marauders of this once great ‘Republic’. In the Oughts (2000?s) there was a “Vast Left Wing Conspiracy” run by George Soros, the Ford Foundation, The National Endowment for Democracy, or the Brookings Institute to attack and dethrone George Jr., who was also a hater of liberty, and raper of the Constitution.

Two Greek government lawmakers quit Thursday in protest at their party's austerity policies as unity government talks with Prime Minister George Papandreou collapsed. The parliamentarians, part of Greece's ruling Socialist Party, had criticized the government's wage cuts and tax hikes, which were mandated by the EU and the International Monetary Fund in return for a massive loan rescue last year. Papandreou will have to double previous austerity measures to $40 billion and intensify privatization schemes in exchange for yet another loan.

Since April 1, Canada had demanded documents to verify the safety of all products imported from 12 prefectures affected by the nuclear crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, prohibiting any products from entering into the nation without acceptable documentation or test results.
However, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency removed the controls effective Monday, according to the ministry. “Following an assessment of the results of both domestic and international actions, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency no longer sees the need for routine testing imported food products,” the Canadian agency said on its Website, noting that all food products tested were found to be well below Canada’s radiation limits.
The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths, and to secret proceedings. -- John F. Kennedy

A shadow has descended on freedom worldwide: Congress is in the dark; sovereign foreign nations are in the dark; and the average American can't imagine that a world of espionage, black ops, psy ops, and the apparatus of a surveillance-industrial complex run by globalists has them in the crosshairs.
When exiting CIA director, Leon Panetta, openly admitted that shadow wars and black ops should be a strategy employed through direct military control by the CIA, it marked a new Dark Age.

Webmaster's Commentary:
Following the loss of Vietnam, and the collapse of the supply route for Khun Sa's heroin through Vietnam, Hawaii, and to the US mainland via Air America, the CIA started funding unapproved covert operations with money raised through the importation and sale of cocaine from South and Central America. During Ira-Contra, CIA planes flew guns down and cocaine back up, ending (we are told) with the crash of of a CIA airplane and the subsequent capture and confession of Eugene Hassenfuss, which triggered the public Iran-Contra scandal.
Now, as revelations surface of a massive covert program send high-powered weapons to Mexican drug cartels fighting for control over the Juarez drug route into the US, one has to wonder if once again the CIA is up to their necks in drug money, and once again law enforcement being hamstrung to allow CIA insiders and their enablers to get rich.

A billboard of a bikini-clad model is causing a stir in Auburn.
This morning someone covered the 12- by 24-foot billboard off Highway 49 with a black tarp and the words "no more porn in our town."
Webmaster's Commentary:
Normally I would not bother with this sort of story, but this is such a perfect textbook case of public relations at work I decided to use it in the classroom. As you stare at the girl, it should be obvious this image is not pornographic. As bikinis go, this is rather modest. The point of the story is not to get people up in arms about the bikini but to get them to look at the billboard which advertises a tanning salon! Note that on the page is a link to another story expressing "shock and outrage" at the billboard, so of course people will click the link to see what all the fuss is about.
This is "make news" and not only is it not news, it's just a clever covert advertisement for the tanning salon, luring the suckers in with the 'Banned in Boston' (or in this case Auburn) effect.
Study this image carefully; there will be a quiz next week.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will conduct the first nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS). NOAA’s National Weather Service, governors and state and local emergency authorities also use parts of the system to issue more localized emergency alerts.
The threat of a nuclear reactor meltdown in the United States is a real possibility and might be much closer on the horizon then you may think.
What would be the health implications to the general public?
To get a closer look at this we must first dive into previous meltdowns such as Chernobyl and Fukushima.
During Russia’s Chernobyl disaster that occurred in 1986, a massive governmental cover-up took place (surrounding the actual facts released to the public) by the Russians — just like the Japanese government covered up the actual facts and severity of the Fukushima disaster.
Much attention has been placed on Iran and their supposed nuclear weapons program by the United States and Israel.
What isn’t talked about on a regular basis in the corporate controlled media is the fact that Israel has an illegal, undeclared nuclear arsenal.
While many are already aware of the facts regarding the Israeli Nuclear Program, there is an absurd amount of people who still pretend Israel is a sitting duck surrounded by powerful enemies.
The reality is that our government knew, as far back as 1974, that Israel most likely possessed nuclear weapons.
It turns out that if Greece defaults on their debts it will be your duty as an American to pay for the Credit Default Swaps sold by New York banks to the European bond holders. The down payment is only 180 billion dollars. The balloon payment is five, six or maybe more trillion dollars.
Our suspicions about ill-designs of USA and its strategic allies Israel and India concerning Pakistan’s nuclear program are now turning into reality. President Ahmadinejad’s recent statement that USA has evil designs against our nuclear program has further heightened our anxieties. Psychological war on our nuclear program was ignited by US government and Jewish controlled think tanks and media sometime in 2004 and became more and more vicious with each passing year.

The Department of Defense is looking to hire agriculture specialists to send to Afghanistan. That's nothing especially new -- Afghanistan's economy is heavily agricultural, the health of the country's economy is directly tied to the mission of rolling back Taliban influence, and the U.S. has been sending farming consultants there for years. But writer (and former civilian contractor in Afghanistan) Joshua Foust noticed something unusual in reading the job listing, which had been posted to recruitmilitary.com by a defense contractor. The job requires "secret" security clearance.

Things had been pretty calm in Plaza Catalunya, epicenter of the Barcelona 15-M camp, since the incidents a couple of weeks ago when the riot cops failed to take the square. The popular assemblies continued their protest and their discussions, and finally voted to lift camp last Sunday and transfer the movement to the neighborhood committees. But first there was one last step to take, one last show of strength before moving on: to peacefully protest at the gates of the Catalan parliament yesterday, the day the politicos gathered to approve the austerity measures to be applied to the native slave stock.

The cosmos wants the motivations and conditions of our times expressed in dramas that showcase them, because the cosmos brought The Apocalypse. Both sides of human consciousness; self interest and ‘enlightened’ self interest are presented in acts that reveal what initiates and carries them out. In former times these things could be muddy to ordinary perception. What a person did could be seen in many lights according to surface interpretation and what one is told concerning the meaning of intent. Propaganda is the method by which events are made to seem other than what they are and it wouldn’t be employed if it didn’t work. It works just fine and in our time the means for dissemination are greater than at any time previous.

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday joined the Chinese and Russian leaders in a rare encounter at a summit in Kazakhstan, where he launched a new attack on the "slavers and colonisers" of the West.
Webmaster's Commentary:
The message of this meeting is clear. War with Iran will mean war with Russia and China. For the US Government, who apparently believes a world war will make the other problems go away, that is a great thing. And certainly Israel, which pushes ever harder to send the US into Iran, would be perfectly happy to see the Russians, Chinese, Iranians, and Americans all wipe each other out and leave more of the Earth for Israel to rule, this is also a great thing. And no question the bankers love a good war because everybody goes into debt, and they do not care which side wins.
But I think a new world war is a stupid idea, all the more so because the US will lose it. And I hope you all agree with me, and that you will join us in opposition in yet another war to make the world safe for private central banking.

ELECTRIC cars could produce higher emissions over their lifetimes than petrol equivalents because of the energy consumed in making their batteries, a study has found.
An electric car owner would have to drive at least 129,000km before producing a net saving in CO2. Many electric cars will not travel that far in their lifetime because they typically have a range of less than 145km on a single charge and are unsuitable for long trips. Even those driven 160,000km would save only about a tonne of CO2 over their lifetimes.

"A Bitcoin user allegedly has had $500,000 worth of Bitcoins stolen from him. A hacker supposedly gained access to the user's home computer and managed to get the user's wallet.dat file, which contained the cryptographic keys that allowed him to drain the user's balance."
Webmaster's Commentary:
My question is how the hacker KNEW the BitCoins were there? Was some other part of the system penetrated to identify users?
And again, my concern is less the BitCoins than the BitCoin mining operation. The BitCoin mining software uses a LOT of computer power for what we are told is a simple peer-to-peer cash system. Peer-to-peer file sharing does not require that kind of raw compute power. Neither does the level of digital signing the peer-to-peer cash system claims to use. There is a huge amount of computer power being expended on other unknown tasks. Some articles on just how BitCoins are awarded speak of "solving blocks", and therein lies my concern. As a part of the mining for BitCoins, a huge amount of computer power is being spent on cryptographic processing of these blocks, and nobody really knows for certain what is inside those blocks.
I am concerned that the BitCoin miner, along with passing BitCoins hither and yon, is actually a vast distributed code key-breaker. With enough raw computer power chained together in a few million BitCoin users, brute-force breaking of the keys of asymmetric encryption becomes achievable, even convenient. Great if the perps are reading Iran's government communications or congressional "Sexting" messages, but not so great if the target is banks, SSH transactions, https, utilities, your corporate server, and secured emails.
And just as BitCoin mining becomes widespread, all of a sudden, we are seeing hacking attacks against Sony, IMF, and other previously untouchable secure systems.

What lies in store for Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Italy, and, in short order, the United States, is the wholesale sell-off of public property to private corporations at bargain basement prices. What the despots who gather in their secretive lairs at Davos, Cernobbio, Bilderberg, and G8/G20 are bringing about is a world where no property is owned by the state, which by default means the people. Total corporate control over every facet of life equals extreme fascism.

Of course Weiner should go, as should anyone who engages in such behavior. This is not a moral condemnation but an issue of National Security. Foreign Intelligence operations like the Mossad search out such behaviors by US politicians, document them, then use them to blackmail US Politicians to vote not for the benefit of their constituents and the nation, but for the benefit of the foreign government whose spies uncovered the behavior. The report on Whitewater mentions that an unnamed foreign government (presumed to be Israel) succeeded in recording some of Bill Clinton's phone sex sessions with Monica Lewinski. Shortly after, Clinton ordered the FBI to cease their search for "Mega", Israel's top spy inside the Federal Government. Over 125 investigations into Israeli espionage in the USA have been stopped due to political pressure, suggesting that Israel has not only searched for but found other US politicians who behave as Weiner has done. For the sake of recovering control of our nation, every American with evidence of illegal, or immoral behavior by politicians should make that information public, to end the possibility of blackmail by foreign interests.

Last July, the defendant asked the victim to wait for him early in morning at a Netanya intersection. He picked her up in his car and drove her to the beach. There he told her that she is fated "to become the messiah's mother," and that she must "atone for all the bad deeds that she has done so far" by having sexual relations with him.
He then conducted a marriage ceremony with the girl while still in the car, and swore her to secrecy. At one point he asked her to take her clothes off, and assaulted her.

We don’t risk casualties to those troops,” said one senior administration official, who briefed reporters on the condition of anonymity during a conference call arranged by the White House. “None of the factors, frankly, speaking more broadly, has risked the sort of escalation that Congress was concerned would impinge on its war-making power.””

The operator of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant said Thursday that water was found leaking from a newly installed radioactive water treatment system during its trial run, hampering the firm's plan to fully operate it from Friday.
The White House maintains that because the U.S. is principally in a support role – furnishing intelligence and conducting aerial refueling – that the mission does not meet the requirements of the War Powers Resolution, as it did when Obama first ordered American troops into the operation.
